What's up you guys?
Marty here from GuitarJams.com. I'm going to teach you Happy Birthday.
It's a good
beginner song as well as, you know, it's just fun to learn.
And if you're wanting to learn guitar,
you can sign my email list down there and I'll send you a free ebook that has all these chord
shapes and scale shapes to get you learning guitar.
So anyway, here we go.
All right, so we're going
to start with what's called a G chord.
Third fret on this top string here, second fret on the next
one, [A] and then third fret on the last string [G] down here.
So we've got, happy birthday to,
and then we go to [G#] U, we go to a D chord, and that looks like this.
Second fret,
and second fret, third fret in [D] between.
U, happy birthday to,
and we say [F#] U again, it goes back to the first [G] chord, the G chord.
U, happy.
Okay, so we've got,
happy birthday to [D] you, happy birthday to [G] you, happy birthday [C] dear Lala, [G] happy birthday to you.
So we've got, we need, it's optional, but you can play a G7.
And instead of playing a regular G,
you put your ring finger on the third fret of the low E and the second fret of the A here,
and then you play your index on the first fret of this E string.
So watch, we've got,
happy birthday [D] to you, happy birthday [G] to you, happy birthday dear,
and then the name [C] is going to go to a C chord, all in my ebook.
[G] Happy birthday to, [B] is going [D] to be D, to [G] you.
So watch, happy birthday [D] to D,
then the D, D to [G] the G, then G7 [C] to the C chord, [G] then a G, D, G.
[D]
[G]
[C]
[G] Oh, oh, oh, oh.
[E] [F]
That's it.

Otherwise, I'll see you soon.
