Today in this video I'm going to show you how to play The Beatles I'll Cry
[N] Instead.
_ It's a really simple song so it's going to be a pretty short video I think.
The focus really on this tutorial is _ beat and rhythm.
So I'll show you in detail how
we get that sorted.
_ There's only a verse and a chorus, those are the only variations in
the song and I'll show you the outro right at the end.
_ Throughout the video there'll be chord shapes appearing down on the bottom right hand corner
of your screen.

There's one that will take you to a chords and lyrics video with our cover playing
in the background so you can sing and play along.
It's a great way actually to nail _ _ the
song.
I've done it a few times _ with the video up to speed.
It's by far the best way to
get a song really sorted.

It's a very simple _ beast to play.

you what it goes like for starters.

_ We're
going to be playing the _ G's and the C's as barre [C] chords.
_ _ [G] _ G is your standard F [C] shape,
C6 _ right the way across. _ _ _ _
And the [G] rhythm we're going to be doing.
_ So if you watch very carefully
this hand will be gripping and loosening its grip if you like to provide _ chords that ring
_ and chords that _ don't.
OK, so you go.

_ [Am] _ [G] _ _ _ So basically this hand is gripping on the first and the
third beat of the barre.
