Starting off with an E, up the top, right up here.
It's going to be mute 7 9 9 9.
And you're going to go just like this.
And [B] these are all going to be power chords, right?
And that's going to be 7 9 9 on that B.
[A] And then an A, just like that, it's going to be
5 7 7.
[E] [F#] [A] Sometimes I like to open the A up and do this chord.

[A] If you want to learn that chord, it's 5 7 7 6 0. That's for more advanced players. [E] [F#] [E] [F#] [A] Okay? So now that we've gotten past that part, we can do the [E] verse. Same chord progression, just a little different technique. You're going to take that 7 and that 9, and you're going to use your pinky, and you're just going to [D] lift and put it right back [E] where it's at. [F#] [A] [E] [A] Almost the same strumming pattern as the intro, right? [E] [B] [A] [D] [E] [G#] [A] And then, [Em] so that's what goes on through the entire verse.
