I apologize for that guy sorry for the wait
It's called Willie in the hand job was written by a guy by the name of Johnny Otis
Back way way a long time ago.
I've heard all kinds of different blues artists through this one [G] Bo Diddley comes to mind
BB King comes to mind, and I'm sure there's countless others anyway
It's a real fun tune to play in any party situation really hits people toe tapping so I hope you guys [Bb] enjoy this one
There's only three chords in it there [A] a and
[D] then D
And [E] then e the way I play it
Court help there's a court help link in my info if you need any help with those courts [A] a [D] D
And [E] e
Now the hardest part about this song is the strum.
I kind of put a funky strum on it.
You can [A] strum right
I'll [D]
[A] [E]
slow this down
[A] So
[N] I'm kind of pressing the cord down with my fingers off and on kind of [Bb] in the stress [A] part to it
Because you really don't want it to
Ring out you kind of want it to be quick
And [B] it's just getting the feel for [Db] the song I also [A] you might see me at it
[Ab] That's just me stopping or muting with my hands if you kind [G] of hear almost like a [A] slap
But you [Am] can definitely strum through the chords until you get free [A] get comfortable and then start kind of playing with it
[C] And it's kind of [A] the same thing
[N] So just kind of practice that strum a little bit make it your own
I always encourage that when you feel comfortable with the song join us for the [Fm] song Willie in a hand drive
If you have any questions about that, I'll try [A] to answer them.
It's more of a feel thing for me
[N] And the more you practice the kind of the better you get at strumming us
It's always the hardest thing at first to learn but definitely if you keep practicing it will come easier
Anyway, here we go.
