[N] [G]
Hey [B] guys, welcome back to [D] another video of a good gospel [Dm] tune.
I recently came across this one, but I've [C] heard this one nearly all my [D#] life and I really
enjoy this song.
I've been singing it [G#] recently in church and it's been hard to sing it without bawling
all over the place because [D#] it's just an amazing song when you think about how [C] rich that God
has been to not only the world but us personally as individuals.
[D] It's just amazing what He can do [E] with people just like me and you, how He [B] chooses people
and how people who choose Him, [C] He can really work through in mysterious ways.
I've found that to be true in my [G] life.
This tune is one of my [C] favorites and it's become one of my favorites [G] as I sing it more and more.
This [D] one's [F] called God Saves Old Sinners [C#] or I'm So Glad That God Saves Old Sinners [F] or
it may [Dm] even be called Old Sinners.
I don't know what it's called, but [G] this is how I'm used to hearing it sung and how I'm
used to playing it and I hope you enjoy it.
Really listen to the words to it.
It's an amazing song.
For an [D] unlearned [G] and a middle degree, they all had a soul [C] in [G] need of salvation.
And they all [D] had to come [G] to Calvary.
And I'm so glad God saved old sinners.
Thrilled [D] and amazed [G] how He sets them free.
But the biggest surprise [C] in redeeming [G] old sinners is that He [D] would save an old sinner [G] like me.
Now was I so bad that [C] I [G] needed forgiveness?
And was I so [D] wrong [G] I had to be redeemed?
Well I wasn't a thief, [C] but I lived in [G] sin's prison.
And I was as [D] lost as a [G] sinner could be.
And I'm so glad God saved old sinners.
I'm [D] thrilled and amazed how [G] He sets them free.
But the biggest surprise [C] in [G] redeeming old sinners is that He [D] would save [G] an old sinner like me.
And I'm so glad [D] [Gm] God saved old sinners.
[D] [G] I'm [B] thrilled and [A] [D] amazed how He sets [B] them free.
[G]
But the biggest surprise in redeeming old sinners is that He [D] would save [G] an old sinner like me.
Yes, the biggest surprise, the biggest surprise in redeeming old sinners is that He [D] would save [G] an old sinner [E] [G] like me.
And that is [B] God Saves Old Sinners.
Man, what a song.
I love [D] that, enjoy it.
It fills my soul up every single time I sing it.
And for once, I didn't cry [A] while I was singing it.
[F] Maybe a little bit in here, but [G#] it's just a blessing to be able [A] to sing a song like that.
And that God has blessed us [G#] with the ability to [D] do that.
I hope you guys enjoyed that.
I hope you guys can use that in [D#] your own playing and in your own music.
And maybe sing it in [Dm] church sometime.
[D#] Maybe it could be a [E] new testimony song [Am] for you in your walk with the Lord.
[C] So I appreciate [G#] you guys for watching.
And [B] I'm going to go ahead and get off here and [Dm] get some more songs like [B] this recorded for you guys.
So you can really [A] enjoy [C] listening to them.
Appreciate it [C#] guys.
Please subscribe, like, [D] and comment below.
[C#] As well as [D] check out BluegrassGuitarAtCitrels [B].com if you'd enjoy to be able to [A] play some nice songs like this.
And before [D] I sign off, I was thinking [F] about this as I was singing.
[D]
There's a little video, unless I've changed it by now, which [C] I don't think I have.
But by the time you watch [A] this it may be different.
But it [C#] pops up at the beginning and maybe even at the [D] end of [B] this video when you [C] first [A] watch it.
[C#]
And [D] it's something about [B] [D] [F] tips on [Dm] strumming.
I can't remember [C#] what it's called.
It's been so long ago since I've recorded it.
But if [A] you want to learn to play [D] songs like that and have that [D#] nice subtle strumming sound that a bluegrass guitar player has,
then you really need to check [C#] out that video.
[D#] If you reload this [Dm] page, it might actually pop up again and you can click [C#] on it.
But [F] the thumbnail [C#] is a picture of me in my old t-shirt that's got that eagle on it, that Tony Hawk eagle.
[Dm] And I really [G]
think that's one of my better videos as far as [E] technique [F#m] is concerned.
So if you'd really like [D#] to learn how to strum a [G] little bit better, definitely check that video out.
I've got other strumming videos, but that's probably my main one that I [A] really recommend [B] to everybody that's really struggling with timing or something like [C#m] that.
Also, I'll go over [Em] rhythm as well in Bluegrass Guitar Essentials, [B] which you can find at [C] bluegrassguitaressentials [C#].com.
So plenty of [D] resources out there for you guys.
So I'm going to get off here and [C#] get ready for the next video [F] and see you guys when that one comes around.
Thanks so much for watching and God bless.
