_ I praise your name, [C] your holy name.
I praise your name, I [B] praise your name.
[C] _ It's just today or always.
[Bbm] I praise your name, [Bb] I praise _ your [C] name.
[F] _ Okay, [N] it's very repetitive.
So this is easy.
But I put it in intermediate because it has some circle of fourth things going on. Okay, alright. _
_ _ Also, after you learn this song, you can go to, I just want to [F] praise you [C] forever _ [F]
and [Bb] ever [Db] and ever.
[Cm] Same chords, a lot [N] of the same chords.
So you can go to I just want to praise you after this.
But it says, I praise your [F] name.
That's the one chord.
Alright.
Normally it's, our one chord is here.
But to [C] kind of dress it up a little bit, we're going to [F] do what you call tetrachord.
Which means when you make the chord, you go every fourth [G] note. _
And it fits with [B] a lot of stuff.
So just for an [D] exception here, we'll do, I praise your name.
[F] _
Alright, you can do F, A, [Bb] D, G.
And if you want to, after [D] a couple times to build it, then you add the C, the power [E] chord, that F chord in the left hand.
I praise your [F] name.
Your holy [C] name.
The three chord, remember this is three chord in [A] the F, A, [C] G, [F] C, F.
_ I praise your [Dm] name.
Six chord.
And F [D] is D, [Dm] F, A, C.
[G] Circle of fourths.
The two chord on the [N] circle of fourths.
If you haven't memorized those yet, go to the lesson, circle of fourths in F.
Because these things come up over and over again.
You notice in all my lessons, the number [G] system and circle of fourths, they come up over and over.
G, that's your two chord.
[F] F, A, [G] B, E.
I praise [C] your name.
_ This is a [N] five chord, which is a C, 11th.
C, [C] B flat, D, F. _
_ _ _ [Ab] Not just today.
Then circle of fourths, [Cm] five to one, [F] which is [Cm] C, B flat, D, E flat, G.
[F] When you go to the F, F, you just drop the [D] thumb and you end up with [F] F, A, D, E [F] flat, G. [Bb] Far away.
_ _ Your four chord [A] is B flat, major ninth.
[Bb] B flat, A, C, D, F.
And then it goes [E] to a chord off of the [Eb] dominant.
_ You make a 13th chord off the dominant.
[Cm] If you want more theory [N] behind that, go to dominant chords.
Just put dominant in the [Gb] search engine and you'll come up with [Eb] lessons that explain it.
Okay, that's E flat, G, C, D flat. _ _
I praise [Bbm] your_
_ After you do that E flat, in [Db] between put the D [C] flat.
And then F with C in the base.
C, A, C, [D] F.
_ _ _ [N] That's the big six, which is a D, sharp nine, sharp five.
[D]
That's D, F sharp, B flat, C, F. _
[Gm] _ Two chord, which is a G minor seventh, [G] G, B flat, [Bb]
D, F, C 11.
Just [C] move the base. _
And then [Bb] you could say, _ [F] which is [Dm] F, D, [Bb] B flat, and the right hand B flat F.
[F] Or you could say, _ [Bb] which is two, five, one.
Two, five, one is a [C] G minor seventh to [F] a C to a F.
But [E] they put alternate base in it.
So what you're actually going [D] to play is D in the base, [Bb] B flat, D, F, which is a G minor seventh,
which is a D for alternate base, _ [C] C [E] major with E in the base, _
[F] _ which is F, is _ F, C, F, A.
Or _ you could do that in version of F two.
_ _ Okay?
And [Cm] that's most of the song.
Now, when you say, when the praises [Gm] go up, when the [C] holy skies _ [Db]
come_ Right?
[Cm] Same thing that you did before.
Five on a [F] circle of fours, one on a circle [Bb] of fours, four chord.
The thirteenth on the _ dominant, which we did before.
[Cm] When the praises go [F] up, _ [Bb] _ _
[Cm] say, yeah, yeah.
[Bb] _ [Db] _ _ _
_ [Gm] _ _ _ _ [Dm] _ [D] Now, when it gets to building for a while, I [C] know this is supposed to be an easy arrangement.
But after a while, that will get a little boring.
Right?
[F] That'll get a little stale.
[Db] _ [N] So when it starts to really build, we're going to do it like [Gm] this.
_ _ [F] _
_ [Db] _ _ _ [F] _ _ _ _
[G] _ _ [Bb] _ _ [Dm] _ _ _ _
_ [Bb] _ _ [F] _ _ _ [Db] _ _
[Bb] Okay?
So what that is, if you go to two-handed chords, it'll kind of explain what I'm doing.
But [Eb] for your five chords, you're going to do E flat, G, B flat, D.
Right hand, [Bb] you're going to do F, B flat, D, F.
[Eb] _ Okay?
_ [N] In the left hand, you're going to bring that B flat down to A.
You're going to do the same [Gb] thing in the right hand, but you're also going to bring the D to C.
[Dm] So you end [Eb] up with E flat, G, [D] A, D, [Dm] F, A, C, F. _ _ _
[F] And then, _ which is your four chords, you're just inverting it and doing it in both hands.
You're doing F, A, C, D, F, A, C, D.
_ _ And then [C] you're going to say, _ _ _ which is G, C, [Bbm] D flat, F, G, C, D flat.
_ All [Bb] right, then. _ _
[Dm] _ _ [C] _ _ [Bb] _ [Fm] _ Say, [Dm] yeah, _ _ _ [C] _ _ _ _
[Dm] _ _ _ _ [C] [Eb] not just today.
[Bb]
Right, then.
[F] For always, [C] not [Bb] forever, _ I will praise your [C] name.
[F] _ _ _
All [B] right.
Don't just play, understand, and be a blessing to your church. _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
