I [F] [Dm]
[F] think that Jean-Michel Jarre [Db] introduced electronic music to millions [Gm] and millions of people.
When I first heard Oxygen, it sounded like it was coming from just a different universe.
And then I saw the cover art of the album and I thought to myself, what is this?
Because it sounded and looked so different from the world I was living in.
And it was a combination of some of my favorite things, of beauty, futurism and science fiction.
It created a very [G] soft revolution for a lot of people.
[C] [Em] I'm an absolute fan of his [G] work.
He has an absolutely unique sound.
The [C] [Em] first [C] time we met in Paris, we talked about the idea of collaboration.
Then some time later, I sent him a demo, he liked it, and then he started to work on it
[Bb] on his own.
[Dm] And I said yes.
And then some [Dm] time passed and he sent me this very [Gbm] simple piece of music to ask me if I
wanted to write something on top of it.
And I listened to it and I really liked it, but it confused me because the time signature
was 6-4 and 5-4, which are very unconventional time [Bb] signatures.
[Dm] [Bb] At the later stage, I went to Los Angeles and then we worked together on the instrumental
[Bb] part.
And at his studio, we added [Dm] some synth and also [N] some
