[D] what's up YouTube, I'm here [Eb] just to show you a simple song called Jesus I Love You.
This is going to be very basic chords, just stuff that me and my dad used to play.
This song, very simple, and once you get the root chord down you can improvise, you can
add passing chords, whatever you like.
This is a very basic chord, just start on the key of C.
[C]
Once we get the sequence of
it I'll give you a number system and it will follow basically [D] 1, 2, [C] 3, 4, [Em]
5, 6, 7, [C] 1.
One being octave, [Bbm] which is C.
So the first chord is going to be C, [C] it's going to be Jesus
I Love You, because you care, [Am] it's going to be an A minor, and you can either choose to
[D] do a 1-5 [A] or the octave, [Am] it's up to you however you want to do it.
I prefer to do a 1 [Am]-5.
And then you can go to a D minor, [Dm]
you can do it in root position or however you feel inverted.
It's going to be a [G] G major, and then you're going to mix an [Dm] F major with a G, [G]
and then
you go back.
[G] So that's simply an F major chord on your left hand, still holding your G, [D] 1-5, [Am] [C]
[Am] to your
A minor, D [Dm] minor, [G]
[C]
[Dm] and then just arpeggiate the chord.
[G] The bridge part, which says And It Was You, you start on [Am] your 6th chord, and then you
just continue on down, you just drop [A] your thumb and your [Am] 1,
[Ab] and you continue dropping,
keeping your hand on the C and the E.
[C] [Gb] One last time, so you're going all half steps,
one with F sharp, and then you're going to start on Because [Dm] You Are To Me, which is your
D minor, and you're scaling out [Em] by everything, [F] and that is why I say, and you go to a 45
again, [D] 4-5, [G] and you go back to your 1.
[C] That's basically the basic chords of it, and good luck.
