Start Jamming...
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, will you please welcome on stage, Mr.
Joe Brown.
What a lovely welcome and I haven't done anything yet.
Now I knew it was going to be like this up here because I love coming up to Liverpool.
As you know, my first wife Vicky, she's from Liverpool and still got a lot of great friends up here and
so much so that we're getting towards the end of our tour and we thought we'd have a little record of it.
So we're filming it tonight and the boys have assured me they won't get in anybody's way and we'll just have a bloody good time.
Well,
this is our front room part of the show, right?
This is where we sit here and play you some nice tunes,
which you haven't heard or some maybe you have and then in the second half we come out
in our gold lame suits.
Yes.
With 18 beautiful dancing girls.
And we do a medley of my hit.
Let's get the boys on and make some music for you.
First of all, Phil, our drummer Phil.
Phil Capaldi, where are you Phil?
Here we come.
He's getting a bit slow, ain't you mate?
25 years he's been with us.
And he don't see the day too much.
On the bass is Mike.
Where are you Mike?
Mike Nicholls on bass.
Roland Jones on guitar.
And we've also got our record producer playing in the band with us now because he's played lots of various instruments on the recent
recordings that we've made and
we're all very proud of him.
He's my son Pete.
Pete Brown.
We're gonna start off tonight the same way as I started off with a bit of skiffle music.
[E] Didn't get much of a reaction, did it Roland?
There's no washboard is here tonight then?
[N] Lolly Dolly.
