Today what we have is chords of regressions related to Lord prepare me to be a sanctuary
This is kind of done in a slow
Maybe praise and worship devotional type way
So let's go ahead and break this song down.
It's in the key of C sharp or D flat
We're gonna say D flat and [Db] we're gonna go ahead and go over the scale.
So the D flat scale is
[Eb] D flat is the one E flat is the two [Gb] F is the three
[Ab] G flat is the four a flat is [Bb] the five B flat is the [C] six C is the seven [Eb] and then back at D flat with the one
So what we got now we we do
Let's see, we'll [Db] start off the five one so [F] and I play the chord like this
So what [Db] we got is I'm gonna play C sharp or [Eb] D flat E flat
[F] When I hit F on my left hand
my right hand is [Gb] gonna be G flat a
[Db] C yeah
[F]
Or you can just do it over the fire [Gb] so you can do a [Ab] flat E flat and your right [F] hand course
Or like I said, you can just do it over the fire
All right, so then we're gonna do
[Eb]
[F] Now if you do it on your left hand F on your left hand [Eb] you get that chord
You're just gonna [Ebm] take your left hand down to E flat your [Eb] right hand G flat
[A] a C E [F] flat
[Eb] And if you're not if [Bb] you're not playing like that if you just do it over the [F] fire
Just keep your hand [Ab] over the a flat and you can add a D flat your left hand
And you just take it F down to E flat
[F] So you there's two ways you can do it pretty much the same thing
[Ebm] [Db]
So if you usually if you [Ab] got a bass player you can count
You know I'm saying you can do that if you don't have [Ab] a bass player
You probably want to keep the bass on your left
[F] [Db]
And what that is
The one over the one D flat a flat D flat my right hand is E flat F a flat D flat
Then you can hit that a flat to do [F] the melody
[Db]
Then we're gonna do a little run, I'm [Bb] sorry not a run but a walk down [Eb]
[Ab] so what that is so you got
[Db]
[Bb] So if you got a bass player the bass players playing this
[C]
[Eb] Now if you don't have a bass player still gonna be playing if even if you do you'll be playing the melody in this
[Bb] [Ab] [Db] So
What that is is left hand D flat C [Ab] B flat a flat [F] G flat
F
[Db] E flat D [C] flat C.
So basically what you're doing is just [D] going down the C sharp scale the D flat scale
whatever you want to call it and
[C] Then your [Bb] right hand
You're gonna start on the three of C sharp or D flat and you're going to
[Eb] You're gonna do [Db] so you're gonna do C sharp or D flat.
I'm sorry.
I'll start saying it flat [Eb] so D flat [Bbm] E flat
And when you hit that F, that's when your left hand comes in
[Cm] So you got [Db] C and E flat?
[Bbm] [Bb] B flat and D [Ab] flat a flat [Gb] and C
G flat [Fm] and B flat F and a flat [Ebm] E flat and G [Db] flat
D flat [Cm] and F and then C and [Bb] E flat so
[Eb] [Ab] And when I hit that C in my left hand I go to see a flat my left hand my right hand I go to a chord
E flat a flat B flat E [Bb] flat
[Ab]
So it's like it.
[Db] [Bb]
[Ab] [Eb] [Ab] [Bb]
[Ab] [Bb]
[Ab] [Db] All right.
So what we're gonna do now
[Bb] [Ab] Get that chord then you're gonna do a six to five
[Bb] Left hand is B flat and F if you want [Db] right hand a
[Ab]
[Bb] [Ab] [Ebm]
[F] [Eb] [Ebm]
[G] [Bb] [Ab]
[Bb] [Ebm] [Ab]
[Db] [Ab]
[Db] [Ab] [Bb]
[Ebm] [F]
[Ab] [Db]
[Ab] [Eb] [Bb]
