Hey everyone Michael Sweet here at home.
I
Wanted to make a short quick little video to kind of explain how Yahweh came to be
Basically I was flying
And I wound up running into for the first time meeting for the first time Clint Lowry of seven dust on a plane
when we got off the plane exited the plane we took a photo together and
Later on a day or two later.
We started following each other on social media
Sites and I wound up basically
Reaching out to him and asking for his contact information
and long story short
This was all around the time of us getting ready to start a new album
I reached out to him and I said hey, man
You know I would love to hear some of your ideas and possibly have you contribute to a song or two on the new striper fallen and
He agreed and was excited about it, and he wound up sending me a couple ideas
One in which I really really liked and I'll play you a little a little piece of the original version of it
This is it right here
[D]
[Db] [B] Okay, so that's what he sent me obviously it's longer than that, but I'm trying to condense this and what I did is
I took that
In a different tuning striper tuning which is half step below [D] 440 Van Halen tuning and I wound up
Making this out of what Clint [Abm] sent me
[B]
[Ab] [Eb] [C]
[N] So that's just a short little condensed version of what I came up with
Based on what Clint sent me which really the song wouldn't have ever seen the light of day if Clint hadn't sent me that and
I didn't run with that so Clint.
Thank you brother
awesome riff
We wound up creating a six and a half minute epic song.
I think it's the longest song we've ever done
And it seems to be a real hit man people seem to like it
I'm thrilled about that.
It's doing really well at Amazon.
It's doing really well at iTunes a lot of people are downloading it
It's only available for download now.
It will be available for pre-order in
CD format eventually down the road vinyl as well, but man
I just want to say God bless you guys.
I'm so happy to hear that you like it.
It's a powerful song lyrically
It's a powerful song musically it has so much to say and I'm glad that you guys dig it.
God bless
We'll see you soon by the way the next song coming your way next video and song is fallen
So keep an eye out for that Bye guys
