It's the altar of incense.

[Ab] _ [G] it tells us in the Bible, by the way,
when I heard this I'm like, okay, let's go make this incense because I want [Gbm] to smell
what it smelled like to be in the [E] presence of God, right?
[A] But then I'm like reading and
then [Gm] it says, and you're not allowed to make this, right?
And I'm like, [D] oh, oh no.
Like
literally it's like by death or something, you'll be [Ab] cut off.
Like this is very stern.
You are not allowed to use [G] this _ combination of spices to [Gm] make for yourself [N] perfume _ [G]
[N] and
wear it on an everyday [Ab] basis.
Now there's a bunch of [D] stuff we could talk about that,
[Gb] about not selling out your anointing and all [Ab] kinds of other stuff.
But specifically about
this, think [G] about the priest, [Bb] the guy that gets to put that stuff on that altar [G] and take
care of that [B] altar, _ spend his [Gb] time right there.
Do you know what?
When he [G] turns around
and walks out, guess what he smells like?

_ _ _ Those spices, [A] that mixture, that's our worship
[B] that we're putting on that altar.
The more [E] time we spend [Gb] doing that, and I'm not talking
about hours of doing it necessarily, although that's a [G] great thing if you're not married
and you don't have three kids that need you, like some of us in this room or [A] however many
you've [Ab] got, you're needed.
This is not all the time.
[Gm] I'll tell you one thing, I've learned
that I can be in that [E] altar of worship even when I'm driving my kid to [Gb] gym. _
Everything
[E] I do, I can [A] turn every act of my life into [N] worship.
_ _ When I'm making sandwiches, when
I'm _ [A] _ washing the sheets, I don't know.
_ [N] _ _ _ It is with [Eb] a heart attitude, [G] God, this is my worship
to you.
I want to be at the [B] keyboard.
I want to spend [Gb] hours at the keyboard.
Trust me,
[Ab] it's the most [G] wonderful place to [A] spend time with him.
[N] _ _ [Gb] But the practicality of life [B] doesn't
make it so.
[N] _ _ [Ab] And I'm driving and I'm like, God, [A] this is what I got.
[B] I'm giving it to
you.
This is my worship to you.
[G] To be a good steward of the family that you've given [Ab] me.
Whatever it is that [F] God has given to you in your [B] life, be [Gb] a steward of it.
Worship him
through everything that you're doing and you're [G] going to start to smell _ like that [Ab] incense,
like that anointing [G] oil that they [Bb] made, this _ [F] thing that they made that they put on that
altar.
Come on, that's pretty [E] good.
