Hi [N] everybody, we're going to play a little [G#] ukulele blues today.
I know you don't really associate the uke with the blues, [G] but that's what we're going to do.
I'll play it for you and then [G] do a little explanation of what I just did.
It'll be a short little piece, [D] so not too much going on.
We're in the key of G for you people playing along.
One, two, three, [G] four.
[C]

[E] [C]

[G]
[A] Okay, so we used a G7 chord, which is the second fret on the first string, [Fm] [F#] first fret
on the second [Bm] string, second [G] fret on the third string.
That's a G7.
[F] We used a [G] C7 chord, which is one finger on the first [C] string,
[F] first fret.
Gotta [C] love that one.
And then we [B] used a D7 chord, which I'm playing like this.
Second fret on the fourth string, second fret on the second string, third fret on
the [E] first string.
You [C] can also play that one just by barring all the way across on the second fret and
then adding the third fret [D] on the first string.
[G]
Doing [F#m] these little things where I'm picking this finger up.
I don't know if you can see.
I'll turn it [A#] around so maybe you can see what [G] I'm doing here.
And on the C7, I'm going [C] back and forth between a C7 and a C.
[G]
[D]
[F#]
You can bring your fingers up and down and you can create those different sounds.
[G] Now the last thing, the most complicated, is the turnaround, which goes like [Dm] this.
[Cm] [G]
So [D] what am I doing?
Let me get back over here so you can see.
So I start with the [G] G7, then same three strings.
[F] There's no markings on this uke so it's a little tough.
I go to the third fret of the second [N] string, fifth fret of the first and fifth fret of [G] the third.
[Gm] Then I leave this [D] where it is and I just bring these guys down [C#] one fret.
[G#]
[F] All three of them [Cm] on the third fret.
