So, Bottle By My Bed is a song I've wanted to write
for a really long time, and it's not a drinking song,
but I love titles that do [Dbm] that.
I love [Bm] titles that make you think one thing
and then it's totally something else.
[D] I mentioned it to Lori McKenna,
who is my everything hero,
[Db] but she's [Gbm] [A] for sure my [Bm] songwriting hero.
And as soon [D] as I said it, she goes, yes, I get this.
And then it dawned on me [G] immediately.
It's like, all I want [A] is the love of a child,
which she has five times.
[D] Of course [Dbm] she is the only person
that [Bm] I would have ever probably written this exact song with.
And [G] I honestly feel like songs are written
with who they're supposed to [A] be written with, you know?
And it's a real [D] personal song for me.
I mean, [A] you know, [Bm] I've been through all this and it sucks.
I mean, it sucks bad, [G] but there's been a lot of [D] people
that have been [A] affected by this song also
that [D] have written me and telling me,

I'm like, girl, I'm not alone either.
Now this is perfect.
