We're gonna [D#] break down wagon wheel the Darius Rucker [D] version
Same four chords over and over with a nice easy strum [F] pattern, so [C] it's a win-win.
Let's get to it alright
So we're gonna put the [F] cable on the second fret and that enables us to [E] play it
Just like the recording, but with no bar chords.
We're gonna start with a G chord
Which is third fret the middle finger second fret on the a [A] with the index?
But then I like to do
The [F#] ring finger on the third of the B and pinky on the third of the [A] high E
Because the next chord we're gonna use this ring [C] finger to pivot
[F#m] to [D#] the D major [E] chord [A] if G
[E] D
The next chord is going to be a minor
And I think it's going to be best to use middle [D#] finger and ring [B] finger because [D] of the transition to the next chord
We're trying to set our fingers [F] up for the next chord to be the easiest possible transition [A] so G
[E] D
E minor [F#m]
and
Then the final chord that we need for the entire song is C
[A] So ring finger is going to grab that third of the a string [B] second open G
And then first on the [D] B

[C] Just see see if you can just [A] get the chord changes
[E]
You know take that time that they're strumming on those chords to get ready for the next shape
So work on that a little bit, then if you're working on your rhythm.
You could just [F#] do the
Along with the song and not worry about the [E] left hand then put them together and you know [C] that that way you're compartmentalizing the [Dm] different skills
