_ _ Hi guys, _ I covered this song a few days ago and quite a few people have been emailing me asking for a tutorial
So I thought I'd do one some fairly quick one to do

Well, I've seen quite a few [C] YouTube clips where Johnny's doing it without a capo
I'll put one on [Cm] just for the tutorial just so it's in tune with the studio version

_ Playing it a [Eb] G way.

_ The little riff basically is done by just keeping your E chord _ _ [A] formation and it's that finger there
that's on the fifth string at the moment that's going to do the work [C] so [G] it's
_ [F] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
So _ what you're gonna do is play the fifth string [C] twice
_ _ _ [F] Open [Bb] fifth string
_ so that fingers off now and that's gonna come up onto the sixth [Ab] string on the second [G] fret _ and _
Then play the sixth [F] string over and strum into the E _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ When that finger comes up there onto the _ sixth string on [Cm] the second
It does sound good if you can put [G] the bend on
_ So you grab it and [Abm] _ pull it down
[F] And just [Eb] flick it [F] off
_ _ Okay, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
you don't have to put the bend on it, but it does sound nice if you can manage that
_ _ [Gm] _ [F] _ _
Strum into the E _ _ _ _
Do an MP trope and then into the verse and just sit on the E
_ _ _ _ _ Now I taught the weeping willow how to cry
Strum on your E
_ And I showed the clouds how to cover [Fm] up her [Gm] clear
_ Up to an F-sharp minor here
You could play a little F-sharp minor if you [Cm] like you if you notice Johnny's clips
He's only [Gm] just playing this [Cm] cheat one, which is [F] basically just not worrying about the top two strings
You can just [D] strum from the fifth string down
[Gm] _
If you can manage to get your thumb there for the bass
That's sound nice

Or be 11 if you're not you know, I'll just jump right through _
_ When _ _ [F] you're hitting [Gm] the chords
_ [Fm] _ _ [C] _ _ First pluck should always [Fm] be on the bass string.
So [F] on the E

_ _ _ _ _ _ Come [Fm] _ [Gm] _ up [F] _ [G] to the F-sharp minor you can _ [Gm] get that bass sound otherwise _ _ _ _ _
It's really [C] not that important and then the B7 _ _ _ _ _ Right _ _

_ _ _ _ _ Coming back from the E I bring my pinky down on for an E7 _ _
_ Just at that point which is putting the pinky onto the second string third fret _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _

[F] All _ _ _ right, _ _ so they're all the chords you need and you're pretty much just [Eb] repeating that

You know the part you [C] need now is
the same little riff

_ _ _ [Cm] _ [Bb] Okay, _ so when you get to that point we're going from [G] the E to the I it's literally exactly what I showed you on the
E [Ab] but down another set of strings.
So basically then on the fifth string you're gonna be [F] second fret
_ And [Eb] _ _
then open [F] and up onto the fifth string [C] second fret
_ _ _ [Bb] Open then just play the fifth string open and strum into the A _ _
_ _ _ so

[Bb] _ _ _ Back up to the same riff from the intro
[C] _ [Gm] _ _ [F] _ Another _ _ _ _ set of strings [Bb] basically _ [C] and [Gm] _ [F] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [Cm] _ [Bb] _ _ _
_ _ [D] _ _ [Gm] _ [F] _ _ _
_ _ when you get to the B7 _ on the fifth string second [C] fret _ _ _
[B] _ Then down to the first string second fret
_ _ [A] _ _ _ Down to the first fret [Bm] fifth string _ open [Bb] fifth string

_ _ _ _ So _ _
