Hello, this is Jermaine with Piano Clubhouse.
Just back to give you some more shout starters.
Another one is, we'll try a different key this time.
We'll go to Db.
We'll be in the key of Db.
[Db]
[Ebm] [Db]
[Db] In Db we may, [F] last one we showed you was [Db] the
[Dbm] So instead of doing that lead up,
you probably heard a few people do [Ab] something
[Db] like that.
To get people started.
[Ab]
We probably all know something about that.
[Bbm]
It's basically just going from the Ab,
[Bb] [Ab] Bb, Ab, [Db] to the Db.
[Ab]
[Db] And [Ab] then, same thing here.
Just kind of play with that.
[Ab]
[Db] [Bbm] Db.
[Ab] [Db]
[Ab]
[Ab]
[Gb] Just kind of play with that.
[Ab] And one thing you can do,
[Bb] [Db] if you want to kind of change it up the second time,
you can kind of, we'll go [Ab] down.
So what we'll do is,
[Db]
minor chords, they all work in shout and mute.
[Ab] So [Db] instead [Ab] of going there, we'll go,
[Db]
and you can play with that.
So what we can do is,
you can see also that [G] chord,
we have a G in the bass,
[G] we have a Db,
[Db] E, G, Bb,
the octave Db.
So we're still in the key of [Ab] Db.
[Db] And what I would [E] do if I did that,
you [Ab] know, the first time you may go,
second time, [Bb]
[Db] [Dbm] [Db] I've heard that.
It's real easy.
Just hit that chord four times,
and then [Ab] you play an Ab in the bass,
and then a Db chord.
Db, F, Ab, Db.
That's what you have.
[Ab] So [Bb] you [Db]
do it as many times as you want to,
and you can even add,
[Db]
go back to that Db.
And with that, you see,
we're playing this,
[Gm] playing this chord.
[E] And you see up here, you have a [G] Bb in there.
You have a G, and a G in the bass.
So you can substitute that G,
[Bb] also for Bb.
So what I would [Db] do is,
the first time you may want to go,
[Dbm]
[G] and then the second time you may want to go,
[Bb]
[Dbm] I would do that.
[Bb] [E]
And what this is,
[Bb] is playing the same diminished chord,
D, E, G, Bb, Db.
[Dbm] And when you go [Bb] from a Bb to a [E] B,
on the B, I'm just playing a regular Db [B] minor chord.
So you have Db, E, [Dbm] Ab, Db.
[Db] So the first one,
[Db] playing a Db major,
[Bb] the second one, [Dbm]
Db minor, [B] right there.
So those are three little nuggets you can put in your shout music,
[Bb] just to get them started.
[Ab] So you have,
[Db]
one more time,
[Ab]
change it up,
[Ab] [Bb] [Db]
[Db] change it up,
[Bb] [Dbm] [Bb]
[Dbm] change it up.
[Db]
So [Db] that's what you have.
[Dbm] [Ab] Go [Db] [A] back to the top.
You just put them together,
rotate them how you want.
Alright, that's it.
This is Jermaine once again from Piano Clubhouse.
