Hey guys, so people keep asking me to do a tutorial for my four chords songs on the ukulele,
so I will do that for you.
It's a basic [C] GCEA tuning on the uke, [Am]
[E] and it [F] consists of four chords, like the song says.
It's an F, a C, [C] a D minor, [Dm] and a B flat.
[Bb] So, for the F, you take your first finger, put it on the first fret, second string from
the bottom, and your second finger, second fret, top string.
[F] That's your F.
Keep practicing it.
[C] Your C is one of the easiest chords.
Take your second finger, third fret, bottom string.
Then the D minor, it's a little different, challenging.
First finger, second string, first fret.
Then see these two top strings on the second fret?
Cover them with your second [Dm] finger.
[Bb] In your B flat, you take your first finger on the first fret, bottom two strings, and
then your second finger, second fret, third string, and then your third finger, third
fret, top string.
After [F] you've mastered those four chords, we go to the chucking and the strumming.
So I start out with, where is the love?
So this strumming is basically down, chuck, up, up, [C] chuck, down, chuck, up, up, up, chuck,
to the [Dm] D minor, down, chuck, up, up, up, chuck, to the B flat, [Bb] down, chuck, up, up, up, chuck.
So start with the F, [F] then you go down, chuck, up, up, [C] up, chuck.
C, down, chuck, up, up, up, [Dm] chuck.
D minor, down, chuck, up, up, up, [Bb] chuck.
B flat, down, chuck, up, up, up, chuck.
So after you've mastered [C] the strumming, oh, by the way, for a chuck, you basically take
any part of your hand on your palm, and when you're strumming, you hit the strings to semi-mute
it so it sounds like this.
[F]
So you go down, chuck.
[G]
So [F] at my pace, it will sound like this.
[C] [Dm]
[Bb] So in between, you hear a little adding to the strumming pattern because I just get into the music.
So once you're solid on the basic strumming pattern, you can add some flourishes to work
on the transitions.
So I go, where is the love, [F] Superman, she will be love, no one, and I'm yours.
So let's just sing through, where is the love.
Basically you do one cycle of the four without singing, and then you start singing.
[C] [Dm]
[Bb] [F] People killing, people [C] dying, can you hear [Dm] the children crying?
Will you practice [Bb] what you preach?
Will you turn [F] the other tree?
Father, father, [C] father, help us, send us guidance [Dm] from above.
People [Bb] got me, got me questioning, where [F] is the love?
Where is [C] the love?
[Dm] Where is the love?
[Bb] From father
[F] That goes to Superman.
Now, for the I'm yours, the strumming pattern is different if you noticed.
It goes like this.
[C] [Dm]
[Bb] Don't worry, I'll slow down.
So it's basically, [F] down, chuck, up, up, chuck, down, oh, sorry.
Down, chuck, up, up, chuck, up, up, chuck, up, up, [C] chuck, down, chuck, up, up, chuck,
up, up, chuck, up, up, [Dm] chuck, down, chuck, up, up, chuck, up, up, chuck, up, up, [Bb] chuck,
down, chuck, up, up, chuck, up, up, chuck, up, up, chuck,
Okay.
Let's slow that down a little bit more.
[F]
Down, chuck, up, up, chuck, up,
up, chuck, up, [C] up, chuck,
Key, uh, chord change.
Down, chuck, up, up, chuck, up,
up, chuck, up, up, chuck,
Another chord [Dm] change.
Down, chuck, up, up, chuck, up,
up, chuck, up, up, chuck. Chord change.
[Bb] down, chuck up, up, chuck up, up, chuck up, up, chuck
okay, so, here's how it sounds to I'm [G] Yours
well, [F] you done done me and you bet I felt [C] it
I tried to be true but you're so hot that I'm melting
[Dm] fell right through the cracks
[Bb] now I'm trying to get back
[F] for the cool done run I'll be giving it my [C] bestest
nothing's gonna stop me but divine intervention
[Dm] I reckon it's again my turn
[Bb] ooh, some more, but [F] some more I won't [C] hesitate
no more, no [Dm] more, this [Bb] cannot wait
I'm sure [F] there's no need to [C] complicate
I'll time it [Dm] sure this is [Bb] a fate I'm Yours
[F]
and the end is like this
[C] basically you hold the F [F] and do whatever
and that is your four chord songs
I [B] like to end on I'm Yours because I don't like switching back
to the previous strumming
but if you like to, you can
and I hope you guys enjoyed the tutorial
and hope you enjoy playing the four chord songs

_ _ _ _ _ _ Hey guys, so people keep asking me to do a tutorial for my four chords songs on the ukulele,
so I will do that for you. _
It's a basic [C] GCEA tuning on the uke, _ [Am] _ _

It's an F, a C, [C] _ a D minor, [Dm] _ and a B flat.
[Bb] _ So, for the F, you take your first finger, put it on the first fret, second string from
the bottom, and your second finger, second fret, top string.
[F] _ That's your F.
Keep practicing it.
_ _ [C] Your C is one of the easiest chords.
Take your second finger, third fret, bottom string. _ _
_ _ _ Then the D minor, it's a little different, challenging.
First finger, second string, first fret.
Then see these two top strings on the second fret?
Cover them with your second [Dm] finger. _ _
[Bb] In your B flat, you take your first finger on the first fret, bottom two strings, and
then your second finger, second fret, third string, and then your third finger, third
fret, top string. _
_ _ _ _ After [F] you've mastered those four chords, we go to the chucking and the strumming.
_ So I start out with, where is the love?
So this strumming is basically down, chuck, up, up, [C] chuck, down, chuck, up, up, up, chuck,
to the [Dm] D minor, down, chuck, up, up, up, chuck, to the B flat, [Bb] down, chuck, up, up, up, chuck.

_ [F] _ _
So you go down, chuck.
[G] _ _ _
So [F] at my pace, _ it will sound like this. _
_ _ [C] _ _ _ _ [Dm] _ _
_ _ [Bb] _ _ _ _ So in between, you hear a little adding to the strumming pattern because I just get into the music.
So once you're solid on the basic strumming pattern, you can add some flourishes to work
on the transitions.
So I go, where is the love, [F] Superman, she will be love, no one, and I'm yours.
So let's just sing through, where is the love.
_ Basically you do one cycle of the four without singing, and then you start singing. _ _ _
_ [C] _ _ _ _ [Dm] _ _ _
[Bb] _ _ _ _ _ [F] People killing, people [C] dying, can you hear [Dm] the children crying?
Will you practice [Bb] what you preach?
Will you turn [F] the other tree?
Father, father, [C] father, help us, send us guidance [Dm] from above.
People [Bb] got me, got me questioning, where [F] is the love?
Where is [C] the love?
_ [Dm] Where is the love?
[Bb] From father_
_ _ [F] _ That goes to Superman.
Now, for the I'm yours, the strumming pattern is different if you noticed.
It goes like this. _ _ _ _
[C] _ _ _ _ _ [Dm] _ _ _
_ [Bb] _ _ _ _ _ Don't worry, I'll slow down.
So it's basically, _ _ [F] down, chuck, up, up, chuck, down, oh, sorry.
_ _ _ _ _ [F]
Down, chuck, up, up, chuck, up,
up, chuck, up, [C] up, chuck,
Key, uh, chord change.
Down, chuck, up, up, chuck, up,
up, chuck, up, up, chuck,
Another chord [Dm] change.
Down, chuck, up, up, chuck, up,
up, chuck, up, up, chuck. Chord change.
[Bb] down, chuck up, up, chuck up, up, chuck up, up, chuck
okay, so, here's how it sounds to I'm [G] Yours
well, [F] you done done me and you bet I felt [C] it
I tried to be true but you're so hot that I'm melting
[Dm] fell right through the cracks
[Bb] now I'm trying to get back
_ [F] for the cool done run I'll be giving it my [C] bestest
nothing's gonna stop me but divine intervention
[Dm] I reckon it's again my turn
[Bb] ooh, some more, but [F] some more I won't _ [C] hesitate
no more, no [Dm] more, this [Bb] cannot wait
I'm sure [F] there's no need to _ [C] complicate
I'll time it [Dm] sure this is [Bb] a fate I'm Yours
[F] _ _
and the end is like this
_ _ [C] basically you hold the F [F] and do whatever
