[Am] Hey, this is Aaron from Hawaii Music Supply and I'm going to show you a few chords.
Let's start off with C, A minor, [F] F, and [B] G7.
Let's take a look at [Bb] those chords.
Let's start with the C chord.
What we're going to do is take our ring finger, place it at the bottom string, third fret.
[C]
The next chord is an A minor and [Eb] all we're doing to get there is taking our middle finger,
putting it on the top string, second fret, and taking [Am] off our ring finger, A minor.
The next chord is F.
To get there, we're just adding one finger, our first finger, to the
second string, first [F] fret.
That's [G] F.
And to get to G7, all we're going to do is take that top finger down and bring it one string down.
We're going to take our ring finger that we started the C with, put it on the second fret
of the first string, G7, and it makes it really [E] easy to go back to C.
Let's take these two fingers off, slide one [C] forward.
[Eb] So we've gone over the C, the A minor, the F, and the G7.
Now the reason I showed you those chords was that it's a really commonly [Am] used progression in music.
A lot of oldies music starts with this [C] progression and now that you know it, let's practice it.
Try it out, throw it in different strums, and it's really applicable in all situations.
