[Gm] You know, KC [G] Donohue band's album Double Wide Dream launched the group into a whole other level.
It's full of melodic country songs and [D] the band really seems to be at its tightest.
Let's get the story [C] behind one of the highlight tracks from that [G] project from [C] Mr.
Donohue himself.
You [G] know, I had this line, the one star flag that I was trying to work into something for a long time.
I'm from Texas, I'm a Texas guy [D] and I'm always trying to work in Texas whenever you can.
[G] But I was driving down, you know, we were on the road somewhere late [Em] at night and we have this big pile of [C] DVDs on the bus.
And so I was [G] rummaging through and came to an old classic favorite of mine and started [E] watching Urban Cowboy just late in the [G] middle of the night.
One of those [C] ones, you know, you kind of like, and then [D] once you get dialed in to Urban Cowboy, you have to watch the whole thing.
So you're dialed in.
[C] Just [Gm] listening to that [G] old, you know, that late 70s Charlie Daniels, Mickey Gilley sound and I was thinking, you know, there's not enough fast country songs [C] in the world.
I don't think, you know, there's a kind because, [G] you know, we play a lot of honky tonks and bars and people like to get [D] out there and dance, you know,
and they want to [G] spin people [C] around and, you know, get out there and there's people doing flips and all these [G] aerobatical, aerobatical word.
I'm going to go [C] with that, though.
I'm going to coin that [G] one.
Aerobatical moves [D] out there on the dance floor.
So I [Am] thought, you know, I [C] like watching that.
So we're going to try to write a [G] song about as fast as we can go.
And so that one, [D] that one's cooking, you know, [Am] for us on [C] stage.
It's moving pretty quickly.
And we [G] were in the studio cutting and I thought it was a great way for the really for me to show off what an amazing band I have and just kind of really turn each one of those guys loose on that song and let them show off a little bit.
And, you know, I think it's I think it's a fun song and the crowd seems to be digging it so far.

I'm down and I can't find the [E] bread line looking for a [A] place to go.
[G] [A] And I'm getting sound out of freight train [D] bound for Texas.
[E] This girl in Fort Worth swears I'm on [A] her mind.
[Em] [A] She tells me that gets cold [D] when she's all alone.
[E] And at once I fag and I [A] get stalled.

[G] I [A] got nerves of steel with my hand on my head [D] and when I nod my head I'll be looking for aid [E] in my heart.
It's pumping so hard I can't [A] catch my breath.
[G] [A] I hope that it flows and turns into my hand and I'll [Am] make a move [D] for the girls at the stand.
[E] I'll be standing with a shovel and I'm holding up a couple wheelies and getting pulled up out of the train [A] surrounds.
[E] [G] [A] And I'm getting sound out of freight train [D] bound for Texas.

I'm a man but I won't break.
You can have what you [E] can take.
I couldn't get it, you'll regret it, better [Em] just walk [A] away.
