Before I show you the two simplified versions that are in the book,
I'm just going to play this tune how I play it, and then I'll slow it down [C] for you later. _ _ _ _ _ _

Let's break it all the way back down to the basics.
At the beginning on page 7 here, we have just the tune written out.
There's no brushes.
There's no thumbs.
[Ab] So that's how I usually start with these things.
Start with [C] just the tune.

So you see the brushes are the arrows and the thumb is the open fourth string.
