_ _ _ _ I've always wanted to do an acoustic record.
I thought it would be really cool.
And you know a lot of the songs start off acoustic and even if they don't start acoustic
we would end up doing them acoustic on the road at radio stations.
We've just been doing that for so long, the acoustic versions of our [G] songs.
Some of them work really well and some of them don't sound very good.
But I think we took the ones that we liked the most.
We've been wanting to do it for a while now.
I think it's a good test of the song though.
If a song, mostly the good songs sound really good acoustic.
Even if it's a heavy fast song.
A good way to tell if it's good is if it's played acoustic and it still sounds good.
And if you turn everything down and it [A#] still sounds okay then you can play it right.

We decided to put bonus content
[Em] at the end of the acoustic album,
[D] and so we decided to come record the songs
and [G] play them live.
So I called these guys up
and [D] just decided to call [Em] everybody up
that we could, that might know somebody
that had [D] a studio that we could get a good deal [G] at.
And I was just like, [D] dude, I mean,
I wanted these guys to be a part of this anyway
because I [Em] wanted to perform the reason live
[D] the way that we did it on the [G] record
and capture that.
So I knew Frank and these guys were
[Em] good friends of Tommy Lee.
And Tommy Lee lives [D] not far [B] from where we all live
and [G] has an amazing studio in his [D] house.
And so [G] I text you or called you or [Em] something
and then you kind of hooked it up.
Yeah, I just [D] called him and said,
you [G] know, can we invade your house for [D] the day?
And he let us have the [G] house for the day,
which [E] is, I mean, you [Bm] guys want a vibe and [G] atmosphere,
which is why our band came here and recorded [D] too.
It's just studios are very [Em] stale
and there's no vibe in this place.
[D] It's obviously just every bit of it [G] is rad.
Yeah, it's [D] super close to Urban Death.
