[N] Hey guys, Barty Marty here, [Eb] Easy Guitar Tunes.
I've got another great tune by the King of [G] Rock,
their Elvis [A] Presley.
It's called Blue [Ab] Suede Shoes and [Dbm] it's a real fun tune to [Gm] play in any [E] situation.
This has been requested a bunch of times.
It's a nice [Gb] easy tune so I thought I'd put this one [Eb] up
on my channel.
So this one here starts, [Gb] it's three chords but I [G] kind of do a couple different
[Bbm] variations with the A.
First one is your regular [A] A shape.
I'm [D] able to, my fingers [Bbm] are big so I
actually press three strings [A] down with two fingers but the actual [E] A shape looks like [A] this.
Then there'd be your [D] D, [E] then there'd be your E.
And with the A, with the [Bbm] A I just changed [A] it to
an A7.
So your regular A shape would be the three fingers down, A7 will be just lifting
the middle finger.
So [E] again the chords are [A] A, D, [D]
[E] E and A7 would be your A shape [A] with the
middle finger.
So I also kind of strum [Eb] these a little bit different.
I just [C] kind of open and
close them just to kind of give it more of a rock feel.
So it just [E] kind of goes like this, A [Bbm] I'm
lifting all three fingers or all two [Bb] fingers because I use two fingers.
So [A] I'll do the three
finger just so [E] everybody understands [A] but it's kind of like this.
Strumming through it and lifting and
putting down.
These are optional little tricks but you're going to see me do it in the video so I
wanted to explain it.
Now [Bbm] the D is just the index finger, it goes [D] like this.
Back [A] to A and then the
[E] E.
I lift all three on the E as well.
[A]
So those are little tricks.
Now you can definitely,
you can definitely strum through them.
I just [D] find the lifts sound a little better.
Totally up to you.
[A] [E]
[A] [Bbm] And it's a pretty basic rock [Db] strum.
Now there's some [E] talk,
excuse me, there's some talking [G] and singing through this.
So it kind of goes like this.
Now [A] it's a one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready now go cat go I [D] don't you
step on my new sweet [A] shoe.
You can [E] do anything to lay off [D] my new sweet [A] shoe.
Second verse, slow it down a bit.
Knock [E] me down,
[A] step on my face, slamming [E] my [A] name all [E] over the place.
Do anything [A] you want [C] to do.
[A]
[D]
[A]
[E]
[D] [A]
So practice those little tricks, practice those [Db] chords and then meet us for the song.
Elvis Presley, Blue Suede [A] Shoes, Patti Murdy's Guitar Tunes on [Bbm] YouTube.
Let's give [C] this one a go.
[A] Well it's a one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready now go cat go I [D] don't you
step on my blue suede [A] shoe.
You can [E] do anything to lay [D] off my blue suede [A] shoe.
You can knock [C] me down, [A] step on my face, slamming my name all over the place.
Do anything that you want to do.
Lay off my shoe, [G] step [D] on my blue suede [A] shoe.
Well you [E] can do anything to lay off my blue [A] suede shoe.
You can burn [C] my house, [A] steal my car,
drink my liquor from an old fruit jar.
You can do anything that you want to do.
Lay off my shoe, step [D] on my blue suede [A] shoe.
You can [E] do anything to lay off [D] my blue [A] suede shoe.
I said blue, blue, blue suede shoes.
Blue, blue, blue suede shoes.
[D]
Blue, blue, blue suede shoes.
[A]
Blue, blue, blue suede shoes.
You can do [E] anything to lay off my [D] blue suede [A] shoe.
Blue blue blue suede shoes.
Blue blue blue suede shoes.
[D]
Blue blue blue suede shoes.
[A]
Blue

You can [E] do anything with it.
[C] All for my blue [A] suede shoes.
There [E] you go.
Blue suede
shoes.
Very easy.
Very simple.
I usually run that one through a couple of times and maybe
repeat the third verse.
You can do whatever you want with it.

say and have some fun with it.
So I hope you guys enjoyed that one.
Make sure you get over
to my channel.

comment.
