The name of the song is Purple Rain.
It's [G] a beautiful, beautiful tune.
Very popular song still to this day among [Ab] all kinds of different [Eb] crowds.
It's kind of neat
too when you pull it out on the acoustic guitar.
Nobody's really [E] expecting it.
[Eb] Kind of made it my
own a little bit.
I play it at a G just to kind [B] of make it easy to learn and [Bb] it's a great, great,
great [B] tune.
So I hope you guys enjoy this one.
There's only four [Ab] chords in the song the way I
play it and the first one is [G] G. _ _
_ _ [Em] Second one is E minor, _ _ _ _ D [D] _ and then [C] C.
_ _ _ _ [Eb] Sometimes you'll see me
play [G] it again the chords are G and when you sometimes you'll see me put that index finger
down on the second string in the first fret _ just to kind [D] of give it a little [Em] body and then the E
minor.
_ _ [D] D I'll also suspend the baby finger the bottom string in the third fret to give it a
little body _ and then C.
[C] _
Sometimes you'll see me _ lift the third the second finger up in the C chord
just put it back down.
Just kind of gives it all a little body and makes it all sound pretty but
all you're [E] gonna all you have to do is strum through these chords but if you [C] want to do those
little tricks they definitely help out [F] during the song.

[Eb] The strum's pretty slow but
