I have got another Canadian legend, Gordon Lightfoot song for you guys.
I'm a big fan of Gordon Lightfoot as you know, and I'm Canadian, so I'm very very proud to put this one up as well.
This has been requested a bunch of times too.
This has actually been turned into a dance tune, and
I've seen it in movies, Club 54, I think it was.
It was a disco tune, and anyway, Gordon Lightfoot wrote this tune,
so very very cool.
It's called, If You Could Read My Mind.
Beautiful tune the way he does it.
Very nice, slow,
beautiful strum as well.
So we'll get through this one and have a look at it.
So now the chords in it are G,

I just, [G] with the F chord, I tend to just borrow the two bottom strings with my index.

[C] There's also a quick run from C to A minor, and all that is is your C chord,
then _ you're lifting that third [G] finger, you're jumping [B] that second string up one into the second fret, single note, [Am] and then the A minor.
So it [C] just sounds like this. _ _ _

So practice that a [G] couple of times.
It does sound pretty.
You don't even have [F] to do that, really.
It just makes the song sound a little prettier.
So the strum's [D] a very basic, nice, slow.
You're not banging on the strings.

_ _ _ You're going up and down, hitting them nice and easy.
I'm barely touching that pick.
