[N] Hey guys, [D#] PartyMarty here, Easy Guitar Tunes.
I've got another [B] request from one of my [G] subscribers.
It's called Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N' Roses.
I've turned this into an acoustic tune, kind of a strumming tune, stripped it down so everybody can play it.
So I hope you guys enjoy this [A] one.
The [D] chords are pretty easy in it.
They're all four [C#]-finger chords except for the D [F] that's at the bottom.
But the [C#] first chord is [G] G.
It's a four-finger G, [A#] so that means your baby [G] is on the bottom string in [A] the third fret.
[C#] Third finger is on the second bottom string in the third [G] fret, and then your regular G shape.
For the C, you just drop the first two fingers [C] down a string each.
There's a variation of D.
You do the same [A] again.
Drop your [A#] index and your [Am] second finger down a string each.
And there's a D.
[D] Now because I'm playing it solo, I don't do the [C] big [D] slash solo or the solo [G] through it.
Because I can't.
I have to either strum or do the solo.
So [D] I actually play the second verse twice, and I find it goes over well in any live situation.
[C] I've turned this into a strum tune that people really enjoy hearing, especially when you're playing solo.
So I hope you guys [G] enjoy this.
Strum's pretty [C] simple.
I put a slap [A#] strum in it.
There's a link to my video there for the [G] slap strum if you guys want a demo of that.
And I'll slow it down a [C#] little bit first, but this is kind of [G] how it goes.
[C]

Do that again.

[C] [G] [D]
Practice that a few times there, and then join me for the song.

Let's give her [G] a go.

[D] Whoa,
[C] sweet child of [G] mine.
[D] Whoa, [C]
sweet [G] love of mine.
She's got eyes of [C] the bluest skies and leaf-like spots of rain.
[Am] I hate to look [C] into those eyes to see a [G] mouth of pain.
Oh, hell reminds me of a worshipped place [C] where as a child I'd lie high.
I pray [F] for the [C] thunder and rain to quietly pass [G] me by.
[D] Whoa,
[C] sweet child of [G] mine.
[D] Whoa,
[C] sweet [G] love of mine.

You can run [D#] that one on and keep [D] doing that chorus and [C#] keep singing those two verses.
And that one goes over great when you're playing [A] with a live [C#] crowd.
