Hey folks, Party Marty here, Easy Guitar Tunes.
Welcome back.
I have a really great request
by one of the world's best bands, by The Beatles.
It's called Let It Be.
Very slow, very beautiful
tune.
Very, very popular song as well.
And it always goes over well in any setting.
I
actually tune it down a little bit.
My voice is a little lower than The Beatles, but I
play it at a G and I find it makes it a little easier for beginners and actually intermediates
and pros as well.
So, anyway, let's give this one a go.
Very simple, four [G] chords.
G,
[D] E, [Em] E minor, [C] and C.
When I go back from [Bm] C to G, I do a [C] little run.
So it's kind of like
this.
[Am]
[G] So again, it's just a run back to C.
So it would be [C] your third fret, second string,
second [B] string, second fret, [Am] then open, [G] then G.
You'll often see me too suspend the index
when I'm playing G.
It just kind of makes it sound a little prettier.
So again, the
chords are G, [D] D,
[Em] E minor, [C] and C.
And I run from C to G.
[Bm]
[Am] [G] [C] Do that again.
[Bm] [A] [G]
And then in the
chorus, I actually go back to E minor from G and all that is is just a top string run.
So third, [Gb] second, and [G] then E minor.
[Gb] [Em]
So third, second, E minor.
And those are [G] about the only
funny things that I do, but you can definitely strum right through those chords.
So this
drum is pretty.
It's just kind of a nice soft, slow song strum.
It kind of goes like this.
[D]
[Em]
[C]
[G] [D] Here's your run.
[C] [G]
We'll go through it again.
[D]
[Em] [C]
[G] [D]
[C] [G]
So practice those chords, [Ab] practice that strum,
and then join us for the song, Let It Be by The Beatles.
I [Bb] really like this tune.
[G]
I'd
like to hear it.
[D]
[Em] [C]
[G] [D]
[C] [G]
When I find myself in [D] times of [Em] trouble, Mama [C] Mary comes to [G] me, speaking
words [D] of wisdom, [G] let [C] it be.
[G]
And in my hour [D] of darkness, [Em] she has stood right in [C] front
of me, [G] speaking words [D] of wisdom, let [C] it be, [G]
let [Em] it be, [D] let it be, [C] let it be, [G] yeah, let
it be, speaking words [D] of wisdom, [G] let it [C] be.
[G] When on the [D] saddest day of my life, I'm in
the shadow of a lonely [Em] people, living [C] in the world of grief, [G] if there will be [D] an answer,
[G] let [C] it be.
[G]
Though they may be [D] parted, [Em] there is still a chance [C] that they will see, [G]
if there
will be [D] an answer, [C] let it be, [G] let it [Em] be, let [D] it be, let [C] it be, yeah, [G] let it be, let it
[D] [Em]
[C] be, [G] let [Em] it be, [D] let it be, [G]
[C] [G] yeah, let it be.
When I [D] find myself in times of trouble, Mama
Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, [C] let it be, [G]
[D]
[Em] [C]
[G] [D]
[C] [G] let [Em] it be, [D] let it be, [C] let it be,
yeah, [G] let it be, speaking [D] words of wisdom, [C] let it be.
[G] When on the saddest day of my life,
When the night [D] is cloudy, [Em] there is still a light [C] that shines on [G] me.
Shine until [D] tomorrow, let [C] it be.
[G]
We go to the [D] sound of [Em] music, while the merry [C] comes to me.
[G]
Speak out my [D] words of wisdom, [C] let it be.
[G] Let it [Em] be, let [D] it be, [C] let it be, yeah.
[G] Let it be, whisper words [D] of wisdom, let [C] it be.
[G] Let it [Em] be, let it [D] be, [C] let it be, yeah.
[G] Let it be, whisper words [D] of wisdom, [C] let it be.
[G]
That tune always goes over well.
[N] Everybody knows that tune, everybody loves that tune.
So I hope you guys enjoyed that one.
Leave any questions or comments for sure.
I love hearing from you guys.
And if there's any requests or anything like that,
I'll tell you what, too, go over to my channel.
[Ab] I've got all kinds of great tunes to learn [Bb] over there.
And I've kind of stripped them down and made them easy.
I put out a new tone tune every Thursday,
so make sure you check that out.
If you like what you see, add a like.
So thanks a lot for stopping by from Parody Marty
at Easy Guitar Tunes on YouTube.
Good luck, guys, and take care.
