Hey guys party Marty here easy guitar tunes.
I've got another really really great tune.
It's a golden tune by Bill Withers
It's called mean on me.
It's been requested a bunch of times
So I thought I'd put [F#] this on the channel for you guys to learn the way I play it
It's easy pretty easy four chords.
I do have a bit of a weird strum there
We will get into it, but this is a real cool tune in any party situation or anywhere you're playing
Everybody knows the words of this tune so you guys will enjoy adding this one to your repertoire
Four chords in it the first one is [C] C
The second one is F [F] the dreaded F
You can burn that F, or you can just do the two-string [F#] index finger burr, which is what I do for this [F] particular song
Then there's an E [Em] minor
[G] And there's a G
You'll see me play G a few different shapes
But for the most part it's a regular G major chord so again [C] the chords are C
[F] F
[Em] E minor
and [G] G
Now I kind of made [D#] this drum my own a little bit
But I'll slow it down and kind of simplify it for you
And you can practice that a little bit, and then you can get into the song with us
It kind of goes something [C] like this
Sometimes in our [F] lives
We all have things
We all have [G] so much
But if we [F] know once
We [G] know the [C] days
Always tomorrow
[C]
Lean on me
When you're not [F] strong
I'll be your friend
I'll [G] help you carry on
One more [C] time
No, [Em] no, [G] no
[C] Sorry
It won't [F] be long
I'm gonna [C] need
[G] Somebody to lean [C] on
So it's kind of a funky little strum the way I [F] do it
But you can simplify it, you'll [A#] see me add a few more little strums up or downs in [B] there
But for the most part if you can follow that slowly
You can play along with the song as you speed [G] it up a little bit to join us
Hope you guys enjoy this one, Lean on Me, Bill Withers, this is one of my favorites
This is a great tune, classic tune
Alright, let's give her a go, here we [C] go
[F]
[C]
[G] Sometimes in our [F] lives

And I'm [C] your friend
I'll [Em] help you [G] carry on
[C] For it won't [F] be long
That I'm gonna [C] need
Somebody [G] to lean [C] on
