How to Play Call Me the Breeze - Lynyrd Skynyrd (cover) - Easy 3 Chord Tune chords
Start Jamming...
Hey folks, Party Marty here at Easy Guitar Tunes.
I've got another really popular tune that's been
asked, requested a lot of times by Leonard Skinner.
It's called Call Me the Breeze.
Real fun tune to play.
A three chord tune and a real effective tune to play in any situation,
any party.
It's a lot, a lot of fun.
So I hope you guys enjoy this [A] one.
Three chords in it.
First one is A.
I play a two finger A.
You guys can play the three finger A.
My fingers are [G] chubby enough that I can cover three strings [A] with two fingers.
And there's [D] a D and there's [E] an E.
[A]
Again they're A, [D] D, [E] and E.
Any chord help at [B] all,
just click on the chord help link that I have underneath this video and it'll take you to my
chord [A] lesson.
So A, [D]
D, [E] and E.
Now I put kind of a funky [N] strum on it.
I put a kind of a funky
strum on it, but you know what?
You can come up with whatever little strum you like.
It kind of
goes [A] something like this.
[G] [A]
[G] [A] And all I'm doing to jump in those chords, you see how I'm moving my
fingers kind of up and down just to kind of slow it down.
Almost kind of gives it a [G] train feel.
[A]
[Em] [D]
[A] Like you can just do a simple strum.
[F#m] That's kind of an odd simple strum I [A] suppose.
But I kind of jazz it up a little bit.
And that's a little more of an advanced strum.
So just kind
of strum through the chords for now.
And then when you get a little more advanced, a little
more comfortable, you can kind of start adding stuff, right?
That's [N] what it's all about.
It's
all about kind of shaping it and making your own style.
So if you have any questions on that,
let me know.
Just to drop me a line there.
Anyway, here we go.
Call Me The Breeze.
Practice
those chords.
Practice that strum.
Find one that you like and then join us for the song.
And again,
you can play the [A] song.
Any one number of strums.
This is just the one that I use.
So hopefully you
guys enjoy this.
Let's give her a go.
Let her skitter.
Call Me The Breeze.
[G] [A] Well they call me the breeze I [A] keep blowing down the road
[D] Well they call me the breeze I keep blowing down [A] the road
[G] I [E] ain't got nobody [D] Ain't nobody care [A] to know
Ain't no change in the weather Ain't no change in me
[D] There ain't no change in the weather Ain't no change [A] in me
I [G] [E] ain't hiding from [D] nobody Nobody's hiding [A] from me
Well they call me the breeze I keep blowing down the road
[D] Well they call me the breeze I keep blowing [A] down the road
[E] I ain't got nobody [D] Ain't nobody [A] care to know
I got that green light baby Got to keep moving on
I [D] got that green light baby I got to keep on [A] moving on

But [E] I don't love me no woman [D] I can't [A] stay in Georgia long
Well they call me the breeze I keep blowing down the road
[D] Well they call me the breeze I keep blowing [A] down the road
[E] I ain't got nobody [D] I ain't carrying [A] no load
