Hello guys, this is AmosDollMusic, and in today's lesson,
I'm going to teach you how to play this song called
Calm 1 from Minecraft Original Soundtrack.
This is like the OG OG soundtrack, it's really awesome.
Very calm, well, that's what the title says.
But anyways, yeah, I'll give you a preview.
It's really simple, [G#] it goes like this.
It's a two bar phrase that goes like this, check it out.
[F#] [D#m]
[F#]
And you repeat that.
[D#m] [F#]
Okay, so let's go ahead and learn it.
It's pretty simple stuff.
Okay, we'll break it up to two parts, it's easier to learn.
First part goes like this, right hand has double notes,
starting on the Gb and Bb here, so middle C, C, F for reference.
Go to the Gb and Bb here, so Gb, Bb.
[G#] And then Ab [D#m] down to Eb, and then [F#] Gb.
That's the first part for the right hand.
One more time, it goes like this.
The Gb, Bb, double note.
[E] [D#m] Ab, Eb, [F#] Gb.
Okay, very important is the rhythm, okay?
You need to learn how to count this properly,
or else it wouldn't really sound right.
It sounds a bit off if you play it not fully correct rhythm.
Okay, so here we go.
So this is how it goes.
Subdivide it into eight counts, okay?
So because normally we count it in fours,
but if we subdivide it to eight counts,
we can fully count the quavers very accurately.
So it goes like this.
So it goes one, two, [G#] three, [D#] four, five, [F#] six, seven, eight.
Like that, okay?
Let's do it again.
One, two, [G#]
three, [D#m] four, five, [F#] six, seven, eight.
Okay, so the first note has two beats.
So one, two, and next one has one beat, [G#m] three.
Next note has two beats, so it's [D#m] four, five.
And then the last note has three beats, [F#] so six, seven, eight.
Okay, so this rhythm is very important
because the second part is also the exact same rhythm for the right hand.
So [B] you really need to get it here [F#] first,
and then when you get it, the second part should be easier as well.
So one more time.
So it's one, two, [G#] three, [D#m] four, five, [F#] six, seven, eight.
Like that.
So that's right hand, okay?
Left hand for this first part, we have three notes on the left [C] hand.
We have D flat down here.
So middle C, go down to C.
So [A] D flat right [C#] here.
So D flat [F#] up to G flat [A#] up to B flat.
[C#] Just like that, three notes.
So [F#] D flat, [A#] G flat, B flat.
Yeah, but anyway, two hands together goes like this.
[F#] It goes together, [C#] E flat and G flat [D#m] together,
G flat and B flat together.
[F#] Okay, and you put it together with the proper rhythm.
So one, [C#] two, three, [D#m] four, five, six, [F#] seven, eight.
And that's it for the first part.
One last time.
So one, two, [C#] [D#m] three, four, five, [F#] six, seven, eight.
And that's it.
There you have it for the first part.
Simple stuff.
Moving on to the second part.
Second part, we have a pattern here.
Right hand is pretty much exactly the same,
except for the last note on the right hand.
Instead of doing G flat, it goes down to the D flat.
But everything else is the same.
We'll put G flat, B flat together.
[G#m] A flat, E flat, and then down to the D flat [C#] here this time.
Yeah, so you can see [F#] it's like the same notes,
except for the last note.
Instead of G flat, it goes to D flat.
So that's the pattern for you, so you can learn it faster.
So G flat, B flat, double note.
[G#] A flat, E [C#m] flat, D flat.
Exact same rhythm though.
So even though it's one different note,
all the rhythm is exactly the same as the [F#] first part.
So one, two, [G#m] three, four, five, [C#] six, seven, eight.
Like that, [F#] remember.
Okay, one more time.
One, [C#m] two, [D#] three, four, [C#] five, six, seven, eight.
Just like that for the right hand.
Left hand, tiny bit different.
Only two notes on the left hand.
It's just the first two notes.
So just D flat [F#] followed by G flat.
Simple, these two notes.
The two hands together for the second part goes like this.
So it goes together, two, [C#] [D#m] three, together.
[F#] Like that.
Okay, simple.
One more time.
So together, [C#] [D#m] together.
[F#]
Counting, it goes like this.
One, [C#] two, three, [D#m] four, five, [F#] six, seven, eight.
And that's it.
Back to back the two parts, we'll just play like this.
We've finished already.
So awesome.
[C#] [D#m] Yeah,
[F#] [C#] [D#m]
[F#] [C#] [D#m]
[F#] [C#] [D#m]
[F#] so that's that.
Some people make a mistake of doing
one, [G#] two, three, [D#m] four, five, six, seven, eight.
Like that, okay.
So it's not like that.
So you make sure you play the E flat every single [Fm] time
for two beats, two [F#] subdivide beats.
One, two, [G#m] three, four, [F#] five, one, two, three.
And also the last note is [B] count three beats as well.
So [N] these are the main things.
If you don't play the right rhythm, it doesn't sound like the original, okay.
But anyways, that's pretty much it.
Not that difficult once we learn the patterns like this.
So go ahead.
If you want to learn all the other Minecraft songs,
I've done most of the famous ones, the very nice ones.

So [A] D flat right [C#] here.
So D flat [F#] up to G flat [A#] up to B flat.
[C#] Just like that, three notes.
So [F#] D flat, [A#] G flat, B flat.
Yeah, but anyway, two hands together goes like this.

But anyway, do a search, do Minecraft A-Master
and you'll find out all the Minecraft songs I've done on this channel.
But anyway, that's pretty much it.
Check out the rest of my channel.
Literally multiple thousands and thousands and thousands of other videos
for you to enjoy and learn from.
Also check out my website bestpianomethod.com
linked in the description below if you want to learn more piano from me.
And that's pretty much it.
As for now, enjoy your time around my channel and see you next time. _ _ _ _ _ _ _
