[Fm] Hey everybody, I'm Roy Romano and I've got a lesson here on how to play a Spanish classical piece
It's a video I put up a couple years ago on YouTube
Had quite a few hits on it had a lot of requests for how to play this song
I've got some tablature and I'm also going to show you how I play it

[N] Alright, that's the piece.
Alright, now let's look at some tablature.
I use the PowerTab editor software to tab out music.
And there's a lot of cool features in it and I highly recommend it.
But one of the functions that it has is that you can do playback with it.
So, what we're going to do, and you can grab your guitar, get up close next to your computer, turn your speakers up.
But I've got the song slowed down to roughly 1 third of the speed.
Tune to A440 so you can play [C] right along with it.
But, let's check it out.

[N] Now I recommend going back over the song line by line, playing it, until you can play it at the pace that I have it set up here.
Always work out the timing on any licks that you're learning to play.
Songs, difficult passages, work them out slowly until you get it even before trying to attempt to play things up to speed.
Always go back, work over your pieces, play them smooth, play them even.
A good piece of music is going to sound good regardless of what speed it is.
And that's it for today's lesson in how to play a Spanish classical piece.
I hope that you've picked up a few techniques, learned how to do it.
You can email me, send me messages, let me know what you think.
I also have the sheet music for the tablature is available.
Just reach out to me, and I can make sure we can get it to you.
I'd like to say special thanks to my good friend Wydus Grantham for his assistance in this production.
And I'd also like to say if you've never tried John's Famous Dressing before, you don't know what you're missing.
This stuff is incredible.
I promise you.
