You know, when I play the blues, something I always like to share with other guitar
players is my idea of getting the most music out of the least amount of information.
And when I'm playing the blues, because our blues scale is just [C] notes,
[A] that's usually
our choice, I want to figure out how I can make the most important statement with [N] the
least amount of information so I don't run out of ideas by the time I get to my second
or third chorus.
So with a rhythm guitar player now, I'm going to play some blues, but I'm going to [E] show
you how simply I can make a statement and develop it so I have more to say on the next chorus.
So I'm going to play the blues in A, just a slow blues.

So I'm still in A, I haven't played a lot of [A] licks or anything, but it sounds like music.
[Em] I'm going to imitate [E] that exactly.
