[G] [A] [Em]
[C] [E] I've wanted one of these guitars since [D] I was very, very young, a young teenager really.
I had pestered my poor old dad for years [G] about [Am] getting hold of one and he never could afford
it I'm afraid at that time so I had to make do with something else of course, you know,
is the way, but there's nothing wrong with waiting for the good things in life.
[G]
As soon as I got my hands on the [Am] 58, you know, I pressed it into service immediately.
It was such [E] a step up from everything that I've known before in terms of these things
and I had one from the 70s and it was just [A] never the same thing.
I mean I had to mess around with it a [E] bit and I was very [Em] excited about having my first
last Paul, you know, but as soon as I got it I realised it was on a different level altogether.
What I used to do with the 58 on [Fm] stage was just look at it and then give it a little
kiss like that because they are such great things to play.
I've used it solidly in the studio and on tour ever since.
[G] Now that these guys are turned up of course, it might be a different matter.
[Am]
[G]
[A] I'd just like to tell you about the prototypes.
I was expecting it to be maybe okay and then when I came in today and [E] I saw 50 of them,
[Em] as soon as I picked it up I went, hold on a minute [E] and started to play [G] and realised
it was not only did it look great but it was great [E] and I actually used it on a recording
session almost immediately.
[Ab] You pick them up and you go, oh my goodness that's perfect.
They're just phenomenal guitars and they sound [Am] amazing.
[G] They're just working straight out of the box.
[E] [Eb] [E] Yeah man, look at these, look at, I mean, they're beautiful man, beautiful.
