[G] Yo, what's up guys?
[F] I'm going to tell you about [Em] three [D] essential blues [C] scales.
These are the only
scales you need to be [F#] the complete [G] blues [B] guitarist.
Okay, [D] there's a few others, [E] but these are the
three [Gm] most important, in [B] my opinion, that [Dm] you should get your hands on.
[C#] A couple of them you'll
know, [F] one of them you may not.
Understand that there [G] are multiple [G#] positions.
I'm going to [E] show
you the root [F] position of [F#m] each of these scales so [G] you can get the [F] intervals down [E] and then use that
[D] knowledge of the [G] scale formula to [D] find the other positions on the neck.
For each scale, I'll
improvise over the same exact progression [G] so that way you can see [C] just how well these fit over [Em] blues
progressions [F] and how I might use them [F#] in my own [G] guitar playing.
At the end of the video, I'll
combine all three scales so you can see what the ultimate blues guitar solo [Dm] that I can do sounds
[Am] like.
So guys, [Cm] I hope this will be helpful [D] for you.
Blues is one of the best genres ever [Gm] and that's why
I'm wearing my blue shirt [A] and I got [G] my blue guitar.
