[D] For me it might be one of the most [Dm] meaningful songs I've ever been a part [D] of.
Like sometimes a melody kind of tells you what it wants to [D] say.
Yeah.
I think for me the song is like anyone can throw themselves into the song.
Not in the writing process as in like the listening side of things.
And they can find themselves in that same story no matter what their story is.
I just remember sitting there and that first line came and it was,
you know, I've been strong and I've been broken within a moment.
And it in a weird way just summed up a period of my life that had been so confusing
and that I was trying to work out.
I couldn't work out, you know.
And then just line after line it was this kind of this conflict of, you know,
giving your best, trying your best and not feeling like it's good enough.
I'm trying my best to be who I feel like God wants me to be but
sometimes I feel like a fraud.
I'm grateful that, you know, like we've written some songs
but the story of the song almost becomes like in a weird way a strange metaphor.
I think it's going to be a song that's loaded with stories that really matter for people.

[D] [A]
[G] And I [D] know [A] I don't deserve this [G] kind of love
[D] But [A] somehow [Bm] this kind of love is who [G] you are
[D] It's a grace I can never add up To be somebody you [G] still want
[D] But [A] somehow you love me [Bm] as your father
[G] [D] You
[Bm] [G] [D]
are mine to think, glory my praises
[Bm] If this borrowed breath [G] is yours, Lord, [D] take it all
[Bm] You are faithful and you [D] are gracious and I'm just grateful
To think [Bm] you don't need a [D] single thing and still you want my heart
I [G] was found before I [Bm] was lost I [D] was yours before I [A] was not
You wear [G] the scars for all my [Bm] mistakes And that part [D] just wrecks [A] me
[G] And I [D] know [A] I don't deserve this kind [G] of love
[D] But somehow [A] this kind of love is who [G] you are
[D] It's a grace I can never add up To be somebody you [G] still want
[D] But [A] somehow you love me as [Bm] you find [G] me [D] You love me as [Bm] you find [G] me
[D] [Bm] If [G] you want my [D] heart I [A] won't second [Bm] guess
Cause I [G] need your [D] love more [A] than [G] anything [D] I've been, I'm [Bm] yours
Your love's [A] too good to leave [G] me [D] here Your [Bm] love's [A] too good to leave [G] me
If you [D] want my [Bm] heart I [A] won't second [G] guess
Cause I [D] need your [Bm] love more [A] than [G] anything I've [D] been, I'm [Bm] yours
