[G] Hi, [C] [Am]
[F] [G] [A]
[E] [G] [Am] [G]
[C]
[N] I'm Ben Woods and I just played my arrangement of the awesome surf classic Walk Don't Run.
I just want to show you, break down a couple of things that I used in this arrangement.
For instance, the surf
I did it [B] with the rasqueo and it's
When we're [Bb] going
[E]
Okay, [B] how I do that is I
[Ab] [Gb]
It's
[B] [Eb] You see what I'm doing?
I'm using [N] index to pinky.
Now the flamenco way would be to go pinky to index like this and just keep recoiling it.
It takes practice, but after a while you gain the speed and then I just slid down.
[D] I wasn't really sure where I started.
I tried to start [Bb] on an A [E]
and end on an A.
[Ab] So for the next part, where we do the bass [G] line and [Gb] the melody at the exact same time,
the [G] hook of the [Gb] song is
[G] [Bb] [E]
Okay, so really quick how I do that.
Open, E to the A.
[A] At the same time with the bass note and [C] then
[G] Easy.
[Em] [F] [Bb]
[Dm] [C] [E] Easy.
So, very slowly [B] and [G]
[E] [A] at speed.
[G] [Am]
[E] [N] And there we go.
Walk, don't run.
