Praise God from whom all blessings flow the songs in the key of C
C scales just C D E F G A B C
[C]
[Db] All right.
So here we go and play a little bit of it then we'll get started.
[C]
[E]
[Am] [D]
[G] [C]
Okay, so let's break this down
so the left hand
Let's just watch this first.
I'm gonna show you the left hand progression first, then we'll add the right hand
So the first left hand is C
C [D] D
[E] E [F] F E [A] A
[D] D
[G] G
[C] Okay.
All right one more time C C D [Em]
E
[E] F E [Am] A
D [G] D G
Okay
Let's add chords to that [C] now
So the first chord over the D.
The first D is just a C major chord EG C.
Okay first chord
The second chord is just the same as the first chord.
We're just inverting it
The one that's E to the top.
So first chord E at the top now second chord
[Dm] Over the D.
We're gonna do B D F now
[C]
Next we move up to a C chord over E
Next over the F.
This C is gonna stay these two move [F] to the right to an F major chord
C F a this is all over F
Let's do let's go back from the beginning.
[C] So let's just go up to that point one
invert [Dm] move up
[C] C chord over E [F] F chord
Next left goes down to E right hand goes up to [E] D
G sharp and B
[Am] Then over a we're doing this a minor chord B.
I'm sorry E a C
Left hand down [G] a D now right hand is moved down a note of the scale to D G and B
Left hand stays on D right hand [D] moves down to C F sharp and A
[G]
Then we land on a G major chord G in the left B D G and then we're just gonna do octave notes one two
three four five
[C] then we go so that's that after [G] the
That ends the first line or the first complete progression, okay, so let's play through that first progression one more time
[E]
[Am] [G]
[C] Okay, so that's [F] the first the first progression
Remember that because the third progression is just a repeat of what we just did
Okay, so if you learn what we just did, you know, the first and third progression that's two out of four
So you were halfway through the song now, okay, so that's the first one.
Here's the second it starts out the same
This is the same
[D] This is the same
[E] Now here's where it changes and the first progression after this we [F] went up to an F major chord
But at in the second second [C] time through we do something different right there watch
[E] Hit this one more time and then we go.
This is the here below part.
So [Dm] it's here
[C] be
[G] low and then we end up with
[C] Okay, so let's walk through what we just did.
So we started off the same
phrase
[E] Jers is just a repeat of that C chord over E
then
[D] Here left hand is D right hand is [Dm] a DF and we're just gonna move everything [D] down
in this exact same shape so here [C] be this is a G major a C major chord and
[G] then
Low right hand move down one more to F B D left hand is now on G
You can even add the D if you want and then
We'll cap it off with the octaves.
Okay, so let's do [C] that second progression now [E]
[Dm] [C] [G]
[C] one quick thing you can do
One option you have is on the second progression
[Dm] [E] [Ab]
[Eb] [Ab]
