_ _ Hey guys Matt here with Acoustic Selection.
_ Today we're going to learn the song He Knows My Name.
It just uses four chords _ _
Three of the chords the G D and C are all formed the same way.
You take the original note say for [G] a G
_ This is the [C] G note
I have all the C's marked to make it easier for reference to find the [F#] C
Find the two [C] black keys and go to the left.
So C D E F G _ or
[B] C B A that's the seven keys
_ [E]
For the G you're gonna take [G] the G _ with your thumb first finger and middle finger and play every other one.
That's the G
_ _ For the [C] C same thing every other one. _
That's the C [Em] for the E minor same thing _
_ Every other one that's an E minor for the D
You want to start with the [D] D but play this F sharp this black key here and then the A key _ _ _ _ _
_ Again [G] you on your right hand use your thumb first finger _ [F#m] and middle [G] finger so _ _
_ _ _ [D] You _ _ [Em] _
_ _ _ [C] _ _ _ might want to if you're just starting out start with [G] just the right hand
_ _ _ _ [D] _ _ _ _
[G] _ _ _ _ [C] _ _ _ _
_ [G] _ _ _ _ [C] _ _ _
_ _ [D] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [G] _ _ _ _ _
_ [D] _ _ _ [G] _ _ _ _
[C] _ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ After you get more comfortable with that you're going to move to the left hand
_ Basically just play the exact same thing with the left hand if you're not comfortable playing all three play just the two outside ones
_ so [C] G C
_ [E] _ E [D] minor D or [G] play the exact same chord only use your
pinky finger middle finger and thumb _ so _ it's _ _ _
[D] _ _ And as far as a strumming pattern or a pattern here [G] I'm going both and then right _ _ _ _ _ _
both right so _ it's _ _
[D] _ _ _ _ [Em] _ _ _ _
[C] _ _ _ _ [G] _ _ _ _
_ [C] _ _ _ _ [D] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ _ [Bm] _ _ [D] _ _ [Em] _
_ _ _ [C] _ _ _ _ _
[G] _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _ _ _
[G] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [C] _ _ _ _ [G] He knows my _ _ _ [D] name
[G] _ _
_ _ [C] He _ _ _ [G] _
knows my
_ _ [D] _ _
[G] He _ _ [C] _ _ _ _
[G] sees _ each tear [D]
that [Em] _ falls
_ [C] _ _ _
_ _ _ [D] _ So [G] _ _
_ _ _ _ as you get more advanced
_ What you're gonna do as long as you're playing those chords those notes within the chord
Even I can start over to the next octave so I can play a C like that if I'm in a G like that
G a I mean G B _ _ and
D and I can start back over G be all the way down through here _ and you can as far as a pattern
_ _ You can just go back and forth
[D] _ _ [C] In the order you want as long as you keep that timing like I [N] say in my guitar videos
It's all about the timing just keep keeping that same beat.
That's what if you hear this _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [C] That's what that's for it's just work on your timing so you can see how the verses in the chorus
_ [G] _ You'll play again verses here course _ here _ _ _
[D] _ _ _ [Em] _ _ _ [C] _ _
_ [G] He _ _ _ [C] for _ my [G] _ _ _ [D] heart
_ _ _ [G] _ _ Before _
_ [D] even [Em] time
_ [C] _ _
_ _ _ _ [G] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ He
_ _ _ [C] _ _ _ _ [G] _
Knows my _ _ [D] name
[G] _
_ _ _ [C] He _ _ _ [G] knows
_ _ _ [D] _ _ [G] _
He _ [C] _ _ _ _ _ [G] _ sees _ _ [D] _ For
[Em] _ _ [C] And he
_ _ [D] _
_ _ _ [G] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [C] _ _ _ _ [D] _
_ _ _ [G] _ _ [Em] _ _ _
So _ [C] _ _ _ _ _
[D] _ _ _ _ [G] _ that _ _ makes you look like you're a lot better player than you are a lot more advanced when you're
_ You _
_ _ [D] _ _ _ _ _ _
[Em] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ [C] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[G] _ _ can see a lot of people think it's difficult if you learn this chord piano
You can learn those four chords and play so many praise and worship songs _
Again, if you're new start out with just the right hand _
_ [D] _ _ [G] _ _ _ _ [C] _
_ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _
Go that way then add maybe the left hand just the top two _ _ then _ _ _ _
_ [Em] _ _ _ _ [C] _ _ _
add up the [G] full chords
_ _ [D] _
_ _ _ [Em] And [C] _ _
after you get [G] that
_ By [D] _ _
[Em] _ _ _ [C] _ _ the keys within the chord if you got any questions message me subscribe if you haven't hope you guys have a great day
God bless
