So I want to get into his guitar, [Ab] his playing [Eb] technique, and I'm going to dispel some myths for [G] you. _
No, I'm not going to talk about him being a disco singer or anything else like that. _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [Em] We're going to [Abm] talk about the three [Eb] string Trans Wonder.
Now I have something very close to his.
[E] His is an old Tisco, I think it's an _ [Fm]
EB10 [F] model from the _ [Gm] 1960s.
This is a Sorrento [Ab] model.
It's a little bit different, but [F] very much the same.
And I set it up like his three string Trans [G] Wonder.
You [Ab] can set up any junky old [Bb] guitar into your own three string Trans Wonder [E] and it is easy.
It [A] is very easy.
[G] _ _ [C] Let me tell you, I'm going to put this [Db] down and I'm going to [Gb] pick up another guitar [G] and
we're [E] going to turn it right into [Ab]
a three string Trans Wonder.
[G] Of course, [Gb]
my Roland [Db] Micro Cube is buzzing.
Got to [E] use a Micro Cube.
That's what [D] Steve used _ in the first Jules Holland [Em] episode.

Okay.

[G] _ I'm going to [Fm] turn down the distortion a little [G] bit, turn up the volume.
What I have here [Bb] is a six string Cigar Box [Gb] guitar [Bb] and it is tuned to [F] _ _ traditional [G] open G tuning.
[Am] Now let me put the [F] tuner on here because I don't want to mess up the notes.
But [E] it's got medium gauge [Gm] electric guitar strings on [G] here _ _ and it right now is tuned
open G, which [D] is [G] D, G, _ [D] B, [G] G, _ _
[B] _ B, [G] _ _ _ _ _
G.
Is that G?
No, it's D.
[D] _
_ D, G, _ D, _ [E] G, B, [G] _ D.
A _ _ _ lot _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [C] _ _
[F] of blues men used [Eb] open G.
Keith Richards [G] _ used open G, but he would remove the [Db] low string.
[G] _ _ [E] _ Now you [B] want to _ [Gm] create your own three [Ab] string Trans Wonder.
_ I'm [Bb] going to do it [Abm] in a crazy way, but you'll never forget it.
[E] If _ [D] you take an open [Db] G guitar [G] _ and you remove the low string, [F] _ [E] the third [Gb] string, [Ab] and the
high [Db] string, the low string, the third [Bb] string.
Let me see.
Is it [C] low?
Yeah.
Third string _ [Abm] _ _ _
and the high [Ab] string.
_ _ [Bb] And you leave it tuned to that what was open G.

You [E] cut off the low string, [G]
the third [Eb] string and [C] the high string.
[Dbm] And the [E] strings that are left in [F] an open G tuning, G, G, B are the [Em] ones that are [G] exactly
