You guys have a really nice tone quality.
[Bb] So like, normally I would say fortissimo is off the table because it kind of gets ugly.
[Bb] It's not going to get ugly.
You guys have a very pretty sound.
So, again, thank you.
It's going to be [Cm] great.
Alright, let's go do it with her.
[C] One note from me.
Hey there, Mr.
Tingman.
We're in Dallas, Texas for the Wild Card Tour.
Headlining the American Airlines Center, which is so special for me because it's hometown.
You know, I drove by here as a kid.
I decided a couple months ago that it would be cool [F] to invite my high school choir from [Bb] Lindale.
[Cm] Hi!
[G] Hey [Gm] guys!
Y'all just hovered around the style bar.
[C] The choir didn't exist when I was a freshman.
It was all about football and band because it's Texas.
And I didn't make cheerleader my sophomore year.
And I knew I could sing a little and [F] was interested in it.
And I kind of petitioned [G] to get a choir.
And so we did [E] my sophomore year of high school [C] and 65 kids signed up.
And we ended up winning state.
So, it's really special.
This marks [Am] 20 years ago that that happened, which is crazy.
It was 2001.
[F] So, very surreal to see them.
And I'm so proud that this [Am] school kept the choir and that they're thriving.
[C] We're going to have a really special moment on stage tonight.
Hey there, Mr.
Tingman.
Alright, put them in.
Put them in!
No!
We just do this.
Okay.
If you don't mind, I would like to invite some really special guests I invited [Gm] up here tonight.
[G] I invited my Lindale High School Choir to come sing a song with me.
[C]
So, I wanted to celebrate
[D] singers and vocalists and artists of all kinds tonight.
Are [C] y'all ready?
[G]
Hey there, [C] Mr.
Tingman.
You don't know how lucky you are.
I've been on the road [F] that you're on.
