Seven Spanish Angels Lesson Ray Charles Willie Nelson chords
Start Jamming...
All right Ray [Ab] Charles Willie Nelson seven Spanish angels
I'm gonna try and do the intro for you guys the way it was done on that studio version
And I'll play it a couple times through and I'll [Gb] show you break it down for you.
Just bear with me if I make any mistakes
It's hard to teach and play at the same time
[Fm]
[Am]
[E] [Dm]
[C] [Bb]
[Am]
[Dm] [Am]
[Dm] I'll try one more time
[G]
You
[E] [Dm]
[C] [Bb]
[Am]
[A] [Dm] [F]
And it's in the key of F if you're wondering [Dm] that songs in the key of F studio version
okay, so I started out with the first finger on the e on the fifth middle finger on the
Six of the B twice.
That's the beginning right there
Then [Gb] you slide up first finger on the six
[Gm] Ring finger on the eight
[Dm] so it's
[Gm] [Am]
And move that [Dm] all up a half a whole step
To the eight and the ten.
So the beginning is and once you got that you stay on that eight and ten and hit it [F] three times
back down once
[Gm]
[Dm] back down again where you started once and
Then to [Em] the three and the five
But when you hit the three and the five you slide up you slide that up
[E] Drop your middle finger down to the six on the [Dm] B and your ring finger on the seventh of your G
Okay, so let's do it all at one more time
[Gm] [Am]
[E] [A]
[Dm] And [D] you hit that twice
When your middle finger is on the sixth and your ring [Dm] fingers on the seventh you hit that twice
[G] Okay, so let's that's where we're [E] at right now.
Let's start it again.
You can play along with me
[Am]
[Eb] [E]
[Dm] Okay, that's the first part of it.
[B] All right
[F] one more time [Dm] and
[Eb] [Am]
[Gm] [E]
[Dm] You're only playing the [Bb] G and the B [Dm] string on that last
you're not hitting the high E string and then the next two is the same is
Fifth fret G [E] and the B.
You're only playing the two strings the G and the [B] B
[Bb]
And you slide [Bm] it down a whole step
so from that
[Abm] [Dm]
[Am] [Bb]
[Gb] [G] Got that start over again one [Dm] more time [Gm] and [Am]
[G] [Em]
[Dm]
[C] [Bb]
then you hit it again
[G]
[Eb] [Am]
So the last [B] two is your first finger [F] on the G string fifth and
Your ring finger on your D string on [Bb] the seventh
[Am] That's that's the [Dm] end of it before the tag on the end.
Okay, so let's start over
[Eb] [Am]
[G]
[Em]
[Dm]
[C] [Bb]
[B] [F]
[A] Okay
So [N] you end it with your first finger on your G and your third thing your ring finger on?
[Ab] the seventh [Db] of the D
[G]
[Bb] So it's starting from [C] there
[Bb]
[F]
[Dm] Everybody see [Bb] that
and then your tag is your first finger on the E string and
[A] Just do a little hammer on on the sixth [G] and then go to the seventh of your B
[A] And then two [E] on the seventh of your G and one [C] on the fifth of the G
So let's play the whole thing through one more time.
I'll do [Ebm] it slow
Took me a while to figure this one out
[Am]
[E]
[Bb]
[C] [Bb]
[Am]
[A] [Dm] [F]
[A] [Dm]
So it's two [Em] hits there on the on the G string on the seven
[Dm]
[F] And then it gets into the song
[A] [Bb] And the song is just F C C 7 F
F 7 B flat I'll [A] have to do the song another time.
But there you have it.
Okay
[F]
[G]
[E]
[B] [Bb]
[Am]
[Dm] [F]
[G] All right.
[N] Thank you
