Hey, what's up guys?
Back to do a lesson for Stuck Inside a Mobile with the Memphis Blues again from Dylan's
Blonde on Blonde album.
Excuse me a second, just gonna open that up.
Okay.
I'll be honest, I didn't know how to play this, so I just learned this recently.
Because I was trying to, you know, think of new lessons to do.
[Ab] And I was listening to, you know, Blonde on Blonde not that long ago and thought that
a few of those songs would be good to do, to share with you.
[E] So this is one of the songs, and I figured this out with, the way it makes the most sense
to me is with a capo at the fourth fret.
And that way, you know, everything is, it's in C.
Pretty much revolves around the C shapes and everything.
In the beginning of the song, you're gonna start with a C and add your pinky underneath
your second finger to the D string.
So that's three times in the beginning.
And then it's gonna start with a C, to A minor, C, [Dbm] to A minor, three times.
[A] Then F, [B] G, [A] back to F, [E] C, A minor, C, [Dbm] again, [A] and F, C.
[Abm] And then for the chorus, E minor.
And then a [E] C.
[Ab] What you're gonna do is you're gonna [E] walk down from the C chord, [B] second fret
of the A, A minor, G, F.
[E]
And there's two things you could do with this F.
Like, during
the song, I think he does this.
And then he's gonna start, but at the end, he does something like this.
[A] [E] You're gonna add your thumb to the third fret of the low E, [A] [E] and then finish with a C.
[N] Alright, so that's what it is pretty much throughout all the verses.
And I [E] hope that this helps you.
And [N] I'll see you all soon.
I'm gonna do a few more lessons, I think, from this album.
So I'll talk to you soon.
