Start Jamming...
Alright, so the next technique we're going to work on is called
tresillo or triplets because you would do it in three parts.
Start again by muting the guitar
which is also good when you're at home and there's other people around and you don't want to bother
them.
So you're going to mute it and we're going to start up with the thumb, down.
I use these two
fingers you could really just use this one as well so but I'll do up with the thumb, down with these
fingers and down with the thumb again.
You want to try and keep it close and tight to the guitar.
So up, down, down, up with the thumb, down with the fingers.
Eventually it will be a circular
pattern and as with the rasqueo it is something you have to practice every day slowly at first
and then increase.
[E]
[A]
[A] Eventually you can get much faster than that
[E] but slow because you want to hear every part of the roll.
[A] [Em] Now I will show you a set of chords the same chords we use for the
rasqueo.
I'm going to [E] use the E major, [F] F major, [G]
G major, [Am] A minor, [G] back up to the G major.
[A] [E]
[F]
[G] [Am]
[G] Up, down, down, up, down, down, [F] up, down, down, up, down, down, up, down.
[E]
[F]
[Am] [G]
[E]
Again I did used to do a different technique it's not wrong it's just different
with using up with the thumb, down with the middle finger, down with the thumb.
[F] [G]
[Am] [G] [F]
[E] [Am]
