New DiMarzio pickups.
_ I met Larry a long [F] time ago and I just dug his whole vibe and [E] I've [G#m] always loved the players
and the sounds that come from the DiMarzio camp.
And this has given a whole new [F] thing for me.
It's a more [B] organic approach. _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [E] _ _ One of the things that I need in a pickup is versatility.
You know what I mean?
That's one of the key things that I love about these pickups.
You have that full body masculine, full _ punchy sound, but you can also get all the subtleties
of a single coil situation here as well.

_ [B] Got a new record coming out in January called Transition, which really says a lot about
my personality and everything that I've been going through in the last few years.
You know, kind of cleaning [F#] mind, body and soul out and trying to find myself again.
We got back to the whole organic thing.
Came up with the L3 guitar _ and with that we wanted to start over again sonically and we
decided that we wanted to go with the DiMarzio pickups and get back into these passive pickups
rather than active pickups to get more organic sound.
And I found that when I went [Dm] to Larry [E] and his team and the things that we [F#] went with
on this, which [G#] were the two humbuckings and also I have a guitar with two singles and a humbucking.
But this guitar brought so many ideas and so much inspiration, which I used on the whole album.
You're going to hear a lot of diverse, different tones.
I mean everything from the opening cut, which is Judgment Day, you know, subtle _ _ [Em] voicing.
