Let's learn this lesson all right, so we're gonna work [B] on a rhythm, and we're gonna work on the chords
They're nice beginner chords
I'm gonna start with an e minor chord which is the second fret on the a string and the second fret on [Ebm] the D string
Whole guitar is strummed now real quick
This guitar is tuned to E flat Nirvana and Guns N' Roses and a lot of other bands all would tune each string down one half
Step okay, so that's something that you're gonna have to do to match up with [G] this lesson, okay?
So we got a minor
Then we go to G major
we're gonna [Gb] take our middle finger and move it to the third fret of the low E right here and then the third fret of
the B and the third fret of the high E
[Ebm] [Gb]
Now let's learn the rhythm.
[F] It's gonna go like this
Down down up down up down up down down up down up down up down down up down up down
Down [Ebm] down up down up down up [Bbm]
[Gb] [Ebm]
[Gb] [Ebm] [Gb] [Ebm]
down down up down up down up
[N] And
It's basically just a kind of a power chord, so we've got the
[C] Third fret of the a [G] I'm [C] sorry the fourth [G] fret of the a sixth fret of the D
[C] [G] And [C] you could get the sixth fret of the G to
Or you could do it like that.
[G] We're just gonna go
[C] Where we're just [G]
moving our index finger over to [C] that note
[F]
[Ab] And so we're gonna take
Actually, I kind of didn't play that all the way right, but [F]
and so that's an F sharp power chord
So it's two four four, but if you get your middle finger down on the [C] third of the G
And let the open V and high E
It's a kind of a cool chord that that you could play
I think the other guitar [Eb] player was playing that on that live [C] thing so it's like
[F]
if you want or just a
[F] Okay
There's one other part.
So here's the [C] second part
[F] [C] [F]
Now back to E minor, [Ebm] but it does a little something different
so it's E minor and
[B] It's [Ab] a a
Power chord is what I'm playing
which is
Open a second second
[Ebm] So we got E minor
[Ab] [B] And [N] you could do the same
[Ebm] Verse rhythm power [B] [Ebm]
[C] chord [F] here and that
[G] [F]
[Ebm] [Bbm]
[Gb] [Ebm]
All [E] right, that was the lesson I hope you had a good time with me
