[E] [G] How's it going guys?
This is Aaron from Hawaii Music Supply and we're here at Ko'olau to check out a couple
different ukuleles that we got.
We're going to go over a few different things.
We're going to [Eb] go and check out the low G and the high G over the same model of ukulele.
This one here is a RTE and that's just a rosewood cedar top tenor with a pickup.
This one has the high G string on it.
[C] [Am]
Classic My Dog Has Fleas [B] that everybody hears about.
We're going to hear how it sounds.
One of the [G] main things [C] about this one is that with the high G you can do like a banjo roll.
That technique [Am] is just a [Gm] pick, pull.
[E]
[D]
Anything with a G in it, any scale that has a G in it we can [G] pick.
[Cm] [C]
You get [D] this cool banjo roll sound.
[C] This is [Ab] the same model, this is the RTE, but we have a low G on this one.
So if we were to try [C] to do the banjo roll on this one, it doesn't work the same.
So you got this droning bass note over everything.
But the cool thing about this and that we can use this for is to do like baritone runs
[F]
[E] [C] [Am] or to do like [F] classical music.

[D] So they both have their advantages.
I play both.
I actually have one uke strung with a low G and one strung with a high.
I really enjoy the sound I get out of both ukes and they serve a different purpose.
I tend to gravitate more towards the low G [G] just because it's more like a guitar.
