Won't He Do It (by Koryn Hawthorne) - Piano Tutorial chords
Start Jamming...
[Bb] Only do [Am] it
[Bb] [Am]
[Bb] Only [Am] do it yes, he will
[Bb] [Am] [E]
[Bb] [Am]
[Bb] [Am]
[Bb] [Am]
[Gm] [F] [Bb]
Was good everybody.
It's your boy sir house of jazz
Did you judge
Back again with a quick one for you.
And this time we have the tune that is called
Won't he do it and it's by and we put her name on the screen so you can see it
Now you can see it a Koren Hawthorne and it's from the
the TV show
Oprah's Network own
Network called Greenleaf.
I believe that's where the song came from one of the episodes or whatever
And I was like, oh, it's a nice little team.
So here we go again.
So this is real easy
Let's let's go through this [F] one
[Bb] Real simple.
All you need is a B flat major 9
double B flat on the left hand [F] a
[Bb] C D [F]
and F on the right hand you can [Am] go to a minor 7
double a on the left hand
G a
C and E
on the right hand [Bb]
and
There you go.
Go back to B flat major 9 again,
[Am] and you keep bouncing between those two [Bb] chords
Keep going back [Am] and forth and then if the last round you're going [Gm] to hit you can do G minor [G] 7
double G on the left hand
G
[Gm] B flat D and F on the right hand
And then you can [F] go
Your last chord will be F major
double F on the left hand a
C F on the right hand
[Bb] Only [Am] do it
[Bb]
[Am] Now this is what I did
This is not necessarily on a track book just because I just wanted that sound
The second time when I after I hit the a minus 7, I just put it over D real quick
You can kind of if you want to you can kind of walk up to it
That's if you want to [Dm] but it's not on a track.
[Am] That's just something I just did
[F] [Bb] [Am]
[Bb] [Am]
And [F] then you stay on those [Am] courts
[G]
[Dm] [Am]
[Bb] [Am] And
[Bb] then [Am] when you're coming out of it you have [Gm] G minus [F] 7
now I
Know for a fact that you do that for the verse and the chorus [Gm] now on the second verse
This is where I heard it on the second verse at the end of the second verse
instead of hitting G minor 7 [F] and then going to F major instead of doing that is
on the recording [Gm] they hit G minus 7 and
[A] You walk [Bb] they walked up [Gm] to
G minus [C] 7 over C [Bb] if you listen to the [C] track you'll hear what I'm talking about
When [Gm] they're coming out of the second verse and getting ready to go into the chorus again
You still got your G minus 7 [G] which is double G on the left hand
[Gm] G B flat D F and then they kind of just [A] walked it up a
[Bb] B flat and then they hit [C] the court again [Gm] with C in the bass.
So G minus 7 [C] over C.
So it [Bb] was like
[Am]
second [Bb] verse [Am] the second half of the second verse
[F] [Bb] [Am] Here we go.
They've been
[Gm] in [C] [Gm] there with
[F] Ladies [Am] and gentlemen, there are no other course to show you for the song.
So
Have fun with that one that's an easy one and we can use this one as a challenge
so if you want to challenge yourself to learn this and
It records yourself singing it and you decide to upload it on your channel
Let me know and I will do a video on my channel right here
Pointing people to your channel to check out your video.
Alright.
Alright, so I will catch y'all in the next one.
Peace
