[F#] Hey guys, [D#] Party Marty here, Easy Guitar Tunes on YouTube.
I've got another real holiday song to sing.
It's a [F#] very pretty song by Elvis [B] Presley.
It's called Blue [A#] Christmas.
I think everybody and their dog has actually covered this song.
But real fun song nonetheless.
Very pretty song to play, and a [D#] lot of people know it.
It also was suggested by one of my subscribers
who wanted to learn it for [Gm] Christmas, so this is for you.
[A#] My mom's a big fan too, and friends
have been asking for this one.
So it was a great suggestion.
I'm glad you did.
So anyway, here we go.
The chords in [E] this one are E.
[C] You
add a pinky to that E [D] there in the second string
from the bottom of the third fret [E] to make your E7.
[D#] There's also a [B] B7.
It's a four-fingered chord, be your index [Cm] finger,
the third [C#] string from the top of the first fret.
Second finger would be [C] on the second string
from the top in the second fret.
Your [D#] fourth finger would be on the fourth string from the top
in the [Dm] second fret.
And your [D#] baby would be on the bottom string
in the second [F#] fret, completing your four-finger [B] B7.
There's [A] also an A.
And there's also
what we call [A#] an F sharp minor.
It's a [C#] bar chord, full bar in [F#m] the second fret.
And then your two last [Cm] fingers would
be in the second and third strings
from the top [F#] in the fourth fret, which
would be your F sharp minor.
[D#] I also, too, when I'm [E] playing the E,
you'll see me bend that top string just
to kind of give it a nice bluesy [C] feel.
And all that is is your [E] basic E.
And you would lift your second [F#] finger and go.
[E] So it's bend, bend, bend, open on the top string
all in the second fret, just so you know what I'm doing here.
So again, chords are E.
I have the pinky in the third fret,
second string from the bottom.
[B] Your B7, [A] your A, [F#m] and your F sharp minor.
[F] So this drum is very similar to what
you would play in the song.
I can't slow it down much more, but I
will play [G] a little bit of it before we get into the song,
just to [G#] give you an idea.
It kind of goes something [E] like this.
[B] I pretty much play it that slow.
It might be a touch faster, but not much.
[E] So practice that there, and then give [D] the song a try.
This is a really, really nice tune
to [G] play at Christmas time.
So I hope you [A#] guys enjoy this one.
Blue Christmas [E] from Elvis.
Let's give it a go.
I'll have a blue Christmas without [B] you.
I'll be so blue just thinking [E] about you.
Decorations of red on [A] a green Christmas tree
[C#]
won't [F#m] be the same [B] if you're not here with me.
[E] And when those blue snowflakes [B]
start falling,
that's when those blue memories [E] start calling.
You'll be doing all right with [A] your career for [F#m] some while.
[B] But I'll have a blue, [F#] blue, blue, [E] blue Christmas.
I'll have a blue Christmas [B] in a circuit that's
with those blue heartaches [E] start hurting.
You'll be doing all right [A] with your career for [F#m] some while.
[B]
But I'll have a blue, [F#] blue, [E] blue, blue Christmas.
You'll be doing all right with [A] your career for some [F#m] while.
[B] But I'll have a blue, [F#] blue, [E] blue, blue Christmas.
[B] But I'll have a blue, [F#] blue, blue, [E] blue Christmas.
[A] [E]
[D#] Blue Christmas.
So I hope you guys enjoyed that one.

at Christmas [D] time, guys.
