I've got another classic tune by the drifters
It's called save the last dance for me.
I've kind of it's some drifters some Springsteen
You know some Michael Buble.
I've seen a few few few guys do this song
I kind of put a bit of a slap strum on it

I call the slap strum that I do [G] kind of give it a bit of an upbeat [F] feel
It's not it's not too fast, but it's just kind of the way I play it
So I just wanted to [G] explain that to you guys
This is a really good [F] tune and it's a tune that a lot of people forget about
But you see it often come up in live shows there like I say Springsteen does a great cover of it
He does a very slow cover [N] of it then Buble does kind of a quick cover of it

And the way I do it [Abm] like I said, it's a slap strum there

I kind of get into the same rhythm that i'm going to use for the song

[C] So practice those progressions those chords and then and then the slide, you know what the slap strum is definitely an optional thing
It's just [N] something that I like to put in gives it kind of a beat all you're really doing on every fourth down stroke
You're using the fat of your hand kind of your thumb part there just to kind of a combination of that [G] and your pick
Just to kind of give it a
drum feel
[A] So like I said, you can do it that way or you can do it with a regular strum either [N] way will work
